Associate Director, Marketing – Biologics Testing

• Set the vision and provide leadership for global Biologics Testing marketing team, fostering engagement, accountability, and execution excellence. • Own and drive the global marketing strategy, including market insights, segmentation, positioning, messaging, and the marketing mix across the portfolio. • Collaborate with Commercial leaders on global and go-to-market strategies to accelerate pipeline velocity and revenue growth. • Translate market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive intelligence into actionable marketing strategies across developed and emerging markets. • Identify whitespace opportunities, adjacencies, and partnership opportunities to inform growth strategies and commercial prioritization. • Identify emerging customer needs and market opportunities to influence portfolio evolution and differentiation. • Build strong value propositions, messaging platforms, and competitive positioning for biologics testing solutions. • Develop integrated global marketing plans across campaign strategy, segmentation, content, digital marketing, events, and product launches. • Lead execution of tactical plans through collaboration with regional marketing, sales, product management, and SME’s. • Drive development of high-quality content including thought leadership, digital assets, presentations, and customer-facing materials. • Monitor and report on marketing performance, campaign impact, and ROI; leverage insights to refine strategy and tactics. • Partner with Market Research to identify lead-generation opportunities in new and niche markets (e.g., compounding pharmacy, consumer care, dialysis).
• Plan and execute the national strategy for engaging oncology key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals (HCPs), payers, centers of excellence, and other decision makers • Manage the Medical Affairs field-based team, providing operational strategies and day-to-day guidance on developing collaborative relationships with the healthcare community • Lead hiring, goal setting, performance evaluations and all other aspects related to direct report supervision within Field Medical • Maintain deep knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas and Puma products, providing therapeutic area and product information to both internal and external stakeholders • Demonstrate expertise in communicating across multiple channels including in-person and virtual presentations in small or large settings, written communications, and via telephone • Understand the priorities of Puma Medical Affairs in order to contribute to the development of medical content and execution of strategically aligned Field Medical tactics
• Overall responsibility for the success of projects and programs and their impact on business strategy. • Creates and ensures effective communication across laboratory functions; motivates and energizes the team through leadership. • Works closely with leadership to drive project and program direction. • Leads cross-functional project planning supporting multi-generational projects. • Partners with internal sponsors to deliver project results related to tools, processes, compliance, and development objectives. • Solves complex problems leading strategic program execution and successful delivery.

• Oversee clinical studies from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. • Support Global Study Managers and lead specific parts of project execution. • Serve as the leader of local study teams on assigned studies. • Oversee preferred Contract Research Organization and maintain accurate country-level plans. • Liaise with regulatory colleagues to agree on submission strategies and milestones. • Collaborate with accountable roles to manage risks in study startup and execution. • Manage and oversee study startup processes where applicable. • Ensure study delivery aligns with agreed operational plans and timelines. • Act as point of contact for all study level queries within the local team.
• Lead or contribute to multiple projects that strengthen the invertebrate welfare research ecosystem • Create a comprehensive, searchable husbandry database documenting species-specific care practices for research and captive invertebrate populations • Produce short, peer-reviewed syntheses on welfare-relevant topics including anesthesia, enrichment, and humane endpoints • Develop a library of concise, classroom-ready materials that introduce welfare concepts for standard laboratory and field contexts • Manage the IWRS Early Career Committee, coordinating activities and supporting emerging researchers in the field • Produce an annual synthesis documenting research activity, institutional developments, and welfare practice trends across the invertebrate welfare community
• Create, maintain and increase sales within designated territory by influencing the prescribing habits of the targeted audience by calling on health care providers and health-related organizations within assigned territory. • Strategically identify and develop relationships with non-prescribing health care providers that influence decision making in accounts. • Sell in various sites of care within territory including clinics and health systems. • Conduct effective and compliant mixing and administration demonstrations to appropriate customers. • Demonstrate thorough on-label knowledge of products by effectively communicating appropriate clinical, technical, therapeutic, disease state and product information to customers. • Complete routine reports and be compliant with industry, regulatory and company guidelines and prepare annual business plans and conduct quarterly analysis of the territory performance vs. plan. • Attend and represent the Company at internal company meetings and external trade shows, community events, etc., as appropriate. • Manage usage and inventory of promotional items to be given away to offices. • Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of the job.
