Description About Layla Layla empowers Canadians to take greater control of their mental health, bridging the gap between wanting care and getting it. Through a client-centered approach, we make it faster to connect with the right therapist or mental health support. Today, we offer timely and personalized therapy for individuals, couples, families, group therapy, and psychological assessments. Since our founding in 2019, our platform has facilitated the delivery of over 100,000 therapy sessions with the support of over 500 licensed Psychologists, Social Workers, and Psychotherapists across four provinces in Canada. About our assessments We are seeking licensed clinical psychologists in Ontario to provide diagnostic assessments as independent contractors. Layla works with psychologists in private practice in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia and Nova Scotia. We help complement your private practice with clients that align to your strengths and areas of clinical interest. We understand that you went into private practice perhaps seeking more independence, and we work with you to retain that control and flexibility while belonging to a new community. We offer psychodiagnostic assessments for ADHD, mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, BPD, health-related disorders, substance use disorders, eating disorders, and more. While we provide assessments for other presenting concerns, we only require capacity at this time from psychologists who can assess for ADHD and ideally those who can assess for both ADHD and BPD. You would provide basic diagnostic assessments that support clients who are looking for diagnoses for purposes such as treatment planning, medication management from their GPs, or potential accommodations at work or school. At this time, this program does not provide assessments for third-party disability applications, capacity or custody evaluations, legal or tax reasons, medical-legal assessments, or psychoeducational assessments. Tailored collaboration You let us know your capacity/how many assessments you would like to do per week or month. We tailor our collaboration to suit your private practice, and you retain control over your schedule and workload. There are no monthly or referral fees. You are paid a flat fee for each completed assessment and we pay for the psychometrics you choose to administer.
