• Deliver instruction in accordance with the Mike Holts Electrical curriculum program • Prepare and present lessons, assignments, and assessments • Evaluate and assess student performance, providing timely feedback • Maintain accurate records of student attendance • Foster a positive and engaging learning environment • Ensure compliance with all state accreditation standards and program requirements • Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and educational methodologies • Collaborate with the Apprenticeship Program Manager to improve program content • Provide academic advising and support to students as needed
• Assist in pulling wire for PV string, DC, and AC feeder systems • Complete plug-and-play module connections and manage module leads • Perform DC terminations and label wiring for string wire, combiners, and inverters • Support AC terminations at inverters, transformers, and switchgear • Assist in electrical testing: insulation resistance and voltage tests • Interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installs • Use hand and power tools to install racking and modules per design • Participate in daily safety and work planning meetings • Complete tasks using KE’s internal software systems for reporting and documentation • Learn from leadership and ask questions to gain a full understanding of assignments • Communicate proactively with supervisors regarding issues or deviations from scope
