As a Business Assurance Analyst, you will help ensure our Core transformation delivers positive outcomes for customers, communities, and colleagues. You will be supported to do meaningful work that stretches your thinking, builds your assurance expertise, and fits around your life, with wellbeing, flexibility, and growth at the heart of how we work. This is an opportunity to be at the centre of one of Kiwibank’s most significant transformation programmes. You will support Business Assurance across the Core Programme by: - Prioritising critical business processes. - Assessing risk and impact. - Maintaining clear traceability across processes, risks, controls, testing, and evidence. - Contributing to assurance planning. - Supporting the alignment of assurance procedures with business outcomes. - Helping validate that testing and readiness activities are fit for purpose. Working closely with delivery, risk, and technology stakeholders, you will help ensure processes, controls, and operations are ready to adopt change within risk appetite, without unintended disruption, and with confidence at every stage. Qualifications - Proven experience in business assurance, risk, controls, or operational risk. - Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and impact assessment. - Experienced in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation activities. - Strong analytical skills with ability to produce evidence-based insights. - High attention to detail when reviewing and validating process documentation. - Confident in stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams. - Proficient in data driven reporting, including dashboards or tools such as Power BI.
