Role Description The Associate Director/Director, Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth for standalone Analytical and Formulation Sciences (AFS) services across a defined Midwest territory. This role focuses on building new client relationships and expanding existing partnerships, identifying outsourcing opportunities, and positioning AFS capabilities in a consultative, science-forward manner. The representative will lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through deal closure while collaborating closely with technical, proposal, and operational teams to deliver high-quality, fit-for-purpose solutions. Role Description The Sr Global Buyer role will report to the Sr Manager of Global Procurement. In this position, you will be responsible for the management and execution of KBI global procurement to pay strategy. You will manage timely conversion of Purchase Requisitions and execution of Purchase Orders to support KBI Strategic projects. You shall work closely with the respective requestors across the business as well as other corporate functions. - Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement processes for the defined categories across relevant legal entities. - Contribute to developing a culture of continuous improvements on processes and tools in close collaboration with other expert positions in the company including Procurement Excellence, Global Process Owners, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), IT experts, Controlling and Global Process Management. - Establishing and managing relationships with significant strategic suppliers. - Providing detailed quality work through all systems touched to ensure quality data upload into KBI systems. - Work with Finance for any escalation queries related to Purchase Requisitions / Purchase Orders. - Meet sales representatives or other related partners to define and understand specifications on specific sourcing initiatives. - Proactively apply best practices. - Collaborate with the Global Business Services organization to coach colleagues and contribute to the success of the operational model for the Purchase-to-Pay process (buyers’ role).
