This role is critical to ensuring installations are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in full alignment with technical and client requirements. You will oversee contractors and field teams, coordinate internal and external resources, and serve as the key installation point of contact for project stakeholders and customers. Beyond execution, this role plays an important part in connecting installation activities with system integration and functional testing, helping ensure the full solution is ready for successful deployment. Key Responsibilities - Plan and coordinate the installation of tolling system equipment, managing onsite activities as needed to ensure quality and timely completion. - Provide oversight to Field Services Supervisors, Field Service Technicians, and subcontractors performing installations, modifications, and repairs of tolling systems equipment and related systems. - Schedule subcontractors and internal resources throughout the project lifecycle. - Partner closely with the Project Manager and internal stakeholders on all matters related to installation. - Act as the primary customer interface for installation-related program activities. - Ensure program-wide focus on safety, cost, schedule, and quality. - Develop Project Installation Plans, including installation strategy in partnership with the Project Manager and planning of work to be subcontracted. - In collaboration with the Project Manager, develop installation schedules and resource plans. - Perform Installation Readiness Reviews on assigned projects. - Support the development of subcontractor scopes of work. - Ensure adherence to project standards, procedures, and documentation requirements. - Read and interpret electrical and civil drawing packages and schematics. - Lead page-turn reviews of drawing packages with internal and external teams. - Plan, perform, and coordinate pre-installation site visits, subcontractor site walks, and site acceptance visits. - Ensure project inventory is properly inspected, stored, staged, and documented for installation. - Establish processes to document field changes during installation. - Ensure installation checklists and configuration records are completed and uploaded to project file folders. - Ensure all site work complies with both client and company safety standards and requirements. - Support other functions as needed to ensure the tolling system is fully integrated and functional. - Monitor repairs and RMAs during installation for timely completion, and submit approval documents to the appropriate purchasing personnel for payment. - Monitor diagnosis of issues involving vehicle loop detection equipment, automatic vehicle ID readers, antennas, RF sources, video cameras, switchers, multiplexers, monitors, and frame grabbers. What We’re Looking For - 5+ years of installation supervisory experience. - Construction scheduling experience. - High school diploma plus additional trade or technical school training. - Relevant technical background may include RF, electrical, or similar field-based training. - Hands-on experience using multi-meters, fiber termination kits, and standard hand tools. - Strong ability to read and interpret electrical and civil drawings and technical schematics. - Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Project, and Word. - Ability and willingness to travel approximately 60%, typically in rotations such as three weeks traveling followed by one to two weeks at home. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with RF or microwave systems. - Proficiency with MS Project. - Prior experience in the tolling industry.
