• Conduct daily outreach to Faculty (via calls, emails, and 1:1 demos) to set up JoVE integrations in courses and increase product usage. • Increase JoVE adoption by delivering product awareness sessions across existing customer universities and research institutes. • Grow engagement and usage by delivering presentations at (1) exhibits and conferences, (2) university seminars and workshops, and (3) onsite customer visits. • Strengthen subscription renewal outcomes by ensuring smooth implementation support, and consistent usage of JoVE resources. • Influence product decisions by communicating customer feedback to sales, product, and marketing teams.

Role Description The Protocol Integrator position is part of a collaborative IT team that is responsible for publishing JoVE's latest science articles to the web. - Prepare science manuscripts in Microsoft Word, including converting from .doc to .docx and removing formatting errors - Transfer all manuscript text into our digital publication tools to prepare them for release - Add appropriate HTML and CSS tags to manuscripts, so that the articles are properly displayed on the web - Cross-check author information, institution information and references for errors - Work with character entities, especially science related Greek characters, and be sure they display properly - Format, validate and correct XML versions of manuscripts, so that they can be submitted to PubMed Central, an online database of scientific abstracts and references - Prepare graphics used in manuscripts so that they are properly sized and displayed on the web Qualifications - A Bachelor’s degree - Experience working with HTML and CSS is preferred, including working with nested lists, tables, and inline/block elements - An understanding of XML structure and usage is required - Experience using basic image editing and formatting techniques - Knowledge of HTML entities, mathematical notations and Greek characters is preferred - Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills - Excellent customer service skills - Quick learner, with effective problem-solving skills, and ability to find solutions to new and complex issues - Detail oriented, organized, and able to keep track of multiple projects and issues independently - Experience with the Microsoft Office environment - Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Benefits - A competitive compensation package - You will make a direct impact in accelerating science research and education - Opportunity to work with global teams and in an environment that promotes innovation and collaboration - Our strong promotion from within culture draws a clear path to advance your career with us
