• Research accounts and prospects using a mix of AI-powered tools and traditional sources to understand their business context. • Engage prospects across email, LinkedIn, and phone with relevant, thoughtful outreach. • Hold meaningful conversations that uncover real problems, priorities, and timing. • Qualify interest and determine whether prospects are a strong fit for Joist AI. • Schedule meetings and provide clear, well-structured handoffs to Account Executives. • Maintain accurate activity, notes, and next steps in HubSpot. • Use feedback from conversations to improve messaging, targeting, and outreach approaches. • Continuously learn new tools and workflows to work more effectively and efficiently.
• Design, build, and evolve scalable, resilient, and high-performing backend services and APIs • Act as an expert guide for the engineering team • Lead by example by tackling the most complex technical challenges • Define and enforce organization-wide best practices for system design, database schemas, automated testing, and observability • Partner closely with Product, Platform, and AI engineering teams to ensure architectural alignment
• Build agents as modular, plug-and-play components. • Add memory layers into running systems. • Wire up tool integrations, MCP servers, and skills. • Own quality of the features you put out. • Dig into production traces to understand system behavior.
• Integrate automated security scanning (SAST, DAST, SCA) directly into our CI/CD pipelines. • Design and enforce security policies across our primary cloud environment. • Pioneer security strategies for our LLM and machine learning workloads. • Build and monitor security observability tools. • Act as an embedded security consultant to our engineering and product teams. • Drive and maintain compliance initiatives relevant to our enterprise AEC clients.
