Role Description We're hiring on behalf of a US-based client looking to strengthen their Corporate Accounting team. This is a hands-on GL accounting role with a strong AP cleanup focus — ideal for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, fixing what's broken, and building clean books. - Prepare and post journal entries — AP accruals, prepaid entries, banking entries, allocations, and month-end close - Reconcile balance sheet accounts and analyze vendor accounts as part of an AP cleanup initiative - Support month-end and year-end close processes - Manage vendor setup procedures and maintain documentation - Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies - Collaborate with the US-based Corporate AP Supervisor (Jennifer Martinez) and cross-functional accounting teams - Support audits with documentation and explanations Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in General Ledger - CPA or equivalent certification is a plus - Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards - Proficiency in Excel — pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis - Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Clear, professional communication in English — written and verbal - Comfortable working independently in a remote, offshore shared-services setup Benefits - Remote Work - Competitive Pay
