Role Description Inspired HR is currently looking for a Payroll and HR Specialist to work in partnership with a team of HR Consultants and their clients. As the Payroll and HR Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits for our Canadian and US clients. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day payroll and benefits operations and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Your proficiency with a variety of payroll systems (Ceridian, ADP, PayWorks would be preferable) will be instrumental in executing these responsibilities effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Payroll and Benefits Management: - Administer payroll for Canadian and US client organizations. - Ensure all payroll and benefits transactions are processed accurately and on time for our clients. - Review and approve payroll and benefits data, including hours worked, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and employee benefits. - Address and resolve payroll and benefits discrepancies and issues promptly. - Payroll Processor Expertise: - Utilize your expertise in Ceridian, RISE, ADP, and PayWorks and other payroll systems to maximize their functionality, delivering top-tier service to our clients. - Stay updated on system upgrades and enhancements to optimize payroll and benefits processes for client satisfaction. - Troubleshoot and provide support for system-related inquiries from our clients. - Compliance and Reporting: - Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local payroll and benefits laws and regulations in both Canada and the US for our clients. - Generate accurate payroll and benefits reports for client management and accounting purposes. - Prepare and submit payroll and benefits-related tax filings for our client organizations in a timely manner. - Audit and Reconciliation: - Conduct periodic payroll and benefits audits for our client organizations to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. - Perform payroll and benefits account reconciliations for our clients to ensure accuracy and compliance. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree and payroll certification preferred. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration. - Proficiency in a variety of payroll and HRIS systems, preferably ADP, Ceridian, and Payworks. - In-depth knowledge of Canadian and US payroll and benefits laws, regulations, and tax codes. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. - Excellent communication and leadership skills. - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - HR experience is an asset. Role Description We're looking for an experienced Project Manager who can hit the ground running on $1M+ commercial millwork projects. You'll own three to five projects at a time, from kickoff through final installation including managing schedules, budgets, change orders, client relationships, and shop floor coordination. This isn't a role for someone who needs a lot of handholding. We move fast, projects have real complexity, and we expect our PMs to bring their own judgment from day one. POSITION OVERVIEW The Director of Business Development will be the primary commercial driver for MindWalk on the West Coast, owning the full business development lifecycle from prospecting and pipeline development to deal structuring and partnership activation. Partnership & Deal Execution - Lead deal negotiations including custom antibody discovery, in silico analytics services, SaaS platform access agreements, and service contracts. - Partner cross-functionally between biologics and in silico business units to structure and close deals that meet both client and company objectives. - Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts, ensuring high satisfaction, repeat engagement, and expanded scope of work.
