Full Stack AI Engineer (Front-End Leaning)
Inception Point AIForging AI personalities through technology and story.
Role Description We are looking for a Full Stack AI Engineer who leans heavily into the Front-End and UX/UI experience. Currently, our internal tools lack the intuitiveness needed for our creative team to be fully self-sufficient. Your mission is to build and rebuild the front end of our tech stack, creating a seamless "Human-in-the-Loop" experience that allows our creative team to scale without constant manual intervention from engineering. Key Responsibilities - Front-End Leadership: Rebuild the front end of our tech stack and establish a long-term front-end strategy for the company. - Product Usability: Design and develop UI/UX that is "customer-minded," making internal AI tools easy to use and intuitive for non-technical creative teams. - Full Stack Execution: While front-end is the priority, you will act as a generalist, helping with data structures and back-end troubleshooting to ensure the platform is robust and scalable. - AI Orchestration: Act as an "AI-forward" engineer, using AI as a pairing partner to accelerate development and building interfaces that dynamically adapt to LLM outputs. - Technical Debt Reduction: Identify and resolve existing technical debt within our "Arc" platform to improve performance and reliability. Qualifications - Deep competency in at least one modern front-end framework (React, Tailwind CSS, or CSS) is required. - Strong experience with data engineering and troubleshooting is a "humongous bonus" as you will eventually assist in scaling our data architecture. - You must be comfortable driving AI to do the work for you; we are looking for engineers who use AI to move faster, not those who are afraid of it. - You are comfortable working in a high-growth environment where documentation may be sparse and processes are still being defined. - You are humble enough to collaborate with others but confident enough to question leadership to find the best solution. Requirements - Experience building complex platform front ends, ideally for AI or high-interaction websites. - Proficiency in React, Tailwind CSS, and/or modern CSS. Preferred - Knowledge of Node.js, Python (FastAPI), and WebSockets. - Familiarity with Vector Databases and LLM APIs (OpenAI/Anthropic). Benefits - This is a "green field" opportunity to build the front-end discipline from the ground up at an AI-first company. - You will work with unreleased technology from NVIDIA and AWS, significantly increasing your market value while building tools that define the future of media creation. Success Criteria (First 90 Days) - 30 Days: Complete onboarding and get fully up to speed on existing undocumented systems. - 60 Days: Begin shipping code for self-sustained special projects with a controlled "blast radius." - 90 Days: Integrate into the normal SDLC rhythm, producing outcomes that entice the creative team to use internal platforms autonomously.

About Inception Point AI Inception Point AI is a media-tech company building the next generation of AI-powered personalities, shows, and content brands. We blend cutting-edge AI tools with storytelling, design, and production discipline to create scalable, high-quality content across YouTube, social platforms, and podcasts. Our work sits at the intersection of creativity, automation, and entertainment — and we’re building systems that allow great ideas to move fast. Role Overview As the Vice President of Engineering, you will be responsible for the highest-level technical decisions of the company. You are not just a manager; you are a "doer" who is excited to remain hands-on with code while architecting the frontier of AI-powered media. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will partner with Product and our Chief AI Officer to determine the technical direction of the business. We are looking for a Senior Engineering Leader who can own and build the next-gen tech stack that enables our intellectual property to scale. You will lead the transition from experimental automations to a robust, scalable production system that can handle millions of transactions per day. Responsibilities - Technical Leadership & Strategy: Partner with product leadership to design and execute the product roadmap while determining the long-term technical architecture of the business. - Hands-on Development: Maintain a hybrid role, contributing directly to the codebase while managing the engineering organization. - System Scalability: Build the technology that facilitates a high volume of content production and supports diverse monetization streams, including licensing and subscriptions. - AI Orchestration: Manage and evolve our AI-assisted code development and progressive agentic development orchestration. - Team Building & Culture: Establish engineering processes (sprints, code reviews, deployments) and eventually hire and mentor a team of 3-10 engineers. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between the technical team and non-technical stakeholders, earning trust through clear communication and reliable shipping cycles. - Operational Excellence: Ensure sustainable engineering velocity by systematically managing technical debt and making disciplined tradeoffs between speed and structural soundness. - Remote Team Leadership & Organizational Alignment: Foster a strong, accountable engineering culture in a remote-first, distributed environment—creating clarity, trust, and ownership within the team while sustaining tight, collaborative relationships across functions. Qualifications The ideal candidate is an obsessed builder who thrives at the intersection of AI and media. You should have a proven track record of shipping (not just architecting) complex systems in fast-moving startup environments. Required - Engineering Leadership: 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams, preferably in a 0→1 environment. - Technical Mastery: Demonstrated technical breadth with the judgment to select and apply the right language for the right problem (e.g., Go for orchestration, Python for data/ML), and comfort operating in an AI-assisted development environment (e.g., Claude Code) as a primary coding interface. - AI/ML Integration: Proven experience integrating AI/ML into production systems, specifically leveraging multi-agent AI orchestration. - Media Tech Fluency: Familiarity with audio/video processing pipelines and media distribution (RSS, CDNs, platform APIs). - Startup DNA: A "nothing is beneath me" attitude with the ability to manage ambiguity and move significantly faster than traditional production cycles. - Automation Expertise: Deep expertise in building automation systems at scale, with a clear understanding of systemic risk and the judgment to design and implement appropriate safeguards, monitoring, and fail-safes. - AI-Enabled Engineering Strategy: Actively track and evaluate the rapidly evolving agentic coding landscape, integrating relevant tools and practices to continuously improve engineering leverage, quality, and speed. - Remote-First Experience: Proven ability to build and sustain a high-trust, high-accountability engineering culture in a remote-first, distributed environment, while maintaining strong cross-functional alignment. Preferred - Creative AI Experience: Familiarity with tools like ElevenLabs/Hume, HeyGen, Runway, or Midjourney. - Social Platform Savvy: Background in building systems for YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram video production. - Data Pedigree: Experience building data pipelines for content analytics and audience insights. What Success Looks Like - Success in this role means becoming a trusted member of the leadership team who "builds cool stuff at the frontier of AI". - Within 30 Days: You will have developed a deep working understanding of our current architecture and automation stack, and built strong, trust-based relationships with cross-functional partners. - Within 60 Days: You will be actively contributing to the codebase, operating in close partnership with Product on prioritization and execution, and delivering early, high-leverage improvements that build confidence across cross-functional stakeholders. - Within 90 Days: You will have made and implemented critical architectural calls, contributed materially to shipped product, established a predictable delivery rhythm, and initiated team expansion where needed. Ultimately, you will build the tech stack that enables Inception Point AI to reach a $500M valuation by scaling our personalities and content to the global stage. Why This Role is Exciting This is a rare chance to help define how AI-powered media is built and distributed at a global scale. You will not just use existing tools; you will architect the engine that powers an entire universe of AI personalities. You will work with a visionary, ambitious team building something genuinely new in an industry that is being rewritten in real-time. You will work alongside experienced operators and builders who are deeply committed to shaping the next generation of AI-driven media. As our platforms and audiences expand, you’ll have the unique opportunity to grow into a foundational leader of a category-defining company, directly influencing the future of how digital stories are told and consumed.
