Role Description The People & Culture Intern will support the People & Culture team on a three-month assignment, focusing on critical projects that streamline HR operations and enhance internal communications. Role Description The key project for this internship is to drive the creation of a high-quality, externally facing document on our WASH programming in Ghana. To do so, you will: - Collaborate with the GW team and the WASH lead in Ghana to synthesize a decade of implementation lessons. - Conduct qualitative interviews and synthesize large amounts of information from previous reports and internal iDE documents. - Lead the writing of an external publication highlighting challenges, opportunities, and lessons learned in northern Ghana. Additionally, you will be involved in: - Performing ongoing and ad hoc analysis for iDE’s WASH programs. - Contributing to the evolution of the organization's analytical models. - Conducting literature reviews and developing annotated bibliographies and case studies. In Knowledge Management, you will: - Work in close collaboration with the GW Managers to understand and evaluate the team's current knowledge management approaches. - Propose an updated system for maintaining and tracking key documents for the portfolio. - Improve processes and practices to strengthen learning across the global portfolio. Qualifications - Currently pursuing a degree in Public Health, International Development, Economics, Communications, or related discipline. - Previous experience with or demonstrated interest in WASH programming. - Strong writing skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into compelling external documents. - Demonstrated ability to perform analysis, conduct literature reviews, and engage in qualitative interviewing. - Demonstrated ability to navigate large volumes of programmatic information and distill key learnings into compelling, professional-grade writing. - Fluent in English. Role Description iDE is seeking a qualified, capable and hard-working individual to work with the headquarters office in Denver, Colorado. This individual will primarily support the Fund Development team with: - Prospect development and research - Data management and integration - Outreach for donor engagement opportunities Some flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the organization as a whole. This is an exciting opportunity that involves learning more about qualifying prospects and fundraising, while getting to know the inner workings of a dynamic international development NGO! Role Description The Fund Development Associate prospects, solicits and stewards corporate, foundation and individual donors with the main goal of funding the vision for long-term prosperity and wellbeing in rural communities around the world. This person demonstrates an understanding of organizational priorities, mission, vision, values and strategic goals and objectives, as well as trust and teamwork in all aspects of iDE business. Essential Duties & Job Functions - Manage iDE’s annual fund supporters to help grow the unrestricted portion of the organization’s annual budget. - Cultivate relationships with corporate, foundation and individual donors to maintain current funding and generate new donations. Team Collaboration - Support and develop Fund Development strategies to maximize the giving potential of individual, corporate, and foundation donors. - Work with the Fund Development team to identify the organization’s immediate and long-term funding priorities. - Understand and have current knowledge on the activities and strategies of other iDE departments. - Grow iDE’s Corporate Partnerships Program, focusing on Tier 3 small businesses. - Retain current corporate donors, increase donations, and solicit new corporate prospects. - Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to ensure program assets are up to date. - Support the continued growth of iDE’s Legacy Program. Individual Contribution - Build and retain a robust portfolio of annual fund donors that give from $250-$20,000 per year. - Maintain a formalized communication plan for annual donors. - Maximize funders who have the capacity to increase support. - Grow the total net worth of the Associate’s portfolio to $400K+ annually. - Meet with the Fund Development team to establish engagement plans for donors and prospects. - Identify and research new prospects and prioritize in-person visits. - Research, develop and draft formal funding proposals and reports. - Personalize acknowledgements to donors. - Develop and implement stewardship and reporting strategies. - Track and record all donor details using Salesforce and Google Suite. - Engage with the Marketing and Communications team for fundraising campaigns. - Develop new and creative strategies for engaging the current portfolio and new prospects. - Lead the continued growth and formalization of iDE’s Ambassador Program. - Partner with the Senior Associate to implement and grow iDE’s Field Connections program. - Manage iDE’s monthly giving program.
