The Associate CAD Designer will provide foundational engineering design and drafting support for security solutions. Working under the guidance of senior design staff, this entry-to-junior level role focuses on utilizing CAD software to collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure project success for both new and existing clients. Responsibilities - Design & Drafting: Experience in CAD or other related tools for developing technical drawings and security system layouts for various projects. - Technical Learning: Develop and maintain a working knowledge of standard Electronic Security technology (ACS, IDS, FDS, CCTV) and support infrastructure, including networking and hardware. - Plan Review: Assist in the review of architectural, electrical, telecommunication, and security floor plans, riser drawings, and device schedules. - Design Support: Assist in developing solutions for system installations, upgrades, and repairs under the direction of project leads. - Documentation: Support the creation of solution design documentation, including CAD drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and design summaries. - Field Coordination: Review Field Site Survey documentation and provide technical assistance for RFI/RFP responses. - Team Collaboration: Provide technical drafting support for in-office and on-site team members. - Professional Growth: Maintain familiarity with current and emerging electronic security technologies and industry-leading vendors. Qualifications - Experience: 0–5 years of experience in CAD design or a related technical drafting field. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software is required as the primary design tool. - Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field preferred; an applicable amount of experience in the appropriate field may be substituted for the educational background. - Industry Knowledge: Exposure to or interest in the design of access control and video systems is a plus. - Certifications: Professional Electronic Security training or certifications (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, C-Cure, Avigilon, Axis, Bosch, Milestone) are an asset but not required. Role Description The Bid & Contract Proposal Analyst is a specialized, dual-focus role responsible for the full lifecycle of the proposal process. This position is uniquely split 50/50 between pre-award bid development and post-award contract review and management. - Analyze bid opportunities while ensuring that awarded contracts remain compliant with legal and financial requirements. - Requires a professional who can "hit the ground running" with a strong background in contract orientation and procurement. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Law; or 2+ years of direct experience in a contract-oriented bid role. - Proven experience in post-award contract review and a "tight skillset" in identifying legal/financial risks within a contract framework. - Strong understanding of public or private procurement processes. - Excellent written skills for creating executive summaries and compliance matrices. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM or Bid Management software (e.g., Salesforce, RFPIO). Requirements - Bid Proposal Development (50%): - Analyze RFPs, ITTs, and bid documents to identify technical and evaluation criteria. - Collaborate with sales, finance, legal, and technical teams to gather necessary inputs for competitive responses. - Develop bid schedules and maintain a database of templates and historical submissions to ensure timely delivery. - Post-Award Contract Review & Management (50%): - Conduct detailed post-award reviews to ensure all contractual obligations align with the initial bid submission. - Monitor contract compliance, identifying potential risks or deviations from agreed-upon terms. - Coordinate with legal and finance departments to manage contract renewals, amendments, and close-outs. - Maintain accurate records of all executed contracts and performance metrics.
