Associate Regional Sales Manager

Role Description This is a remote position requiring candidates to be located in the Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA metro area. - Qualify prospective insurance agencies, ensuring they will act as collaborative partners that confidently and profitably exceed production requirements. - Drive appointment process of qualified agencies, minimizing contracting and setup time while accelerating path to production. - Onboard and develop new agency partner relationships, leading agency onboardings and extending to existing producer trainings. - Conduct business reviews with agency Principals, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability while driving enhanced growth. - Troubleshoot and resolve partner issues of both technical and transactional nature. - Solicit feedback from Producers as to how our technology platform and insurance coverages can better meet their needs, and work with our Product team to make those enhancements a reality. - Parlay Producer relationships and value-adds into additional sales opportunities. - Earn variable sales compensation for meeting and exceeding growth, customer satisfaction, and other quantifiable targets. - Make an incredible impact in advancing the state of the $22B habitational insurance industry! Qualifications - 2-5 years of experience in a full cycle or post-sale support capacity partnering with customers of insurance or B2B SaaS products. - Demonstrated excellence supporting customers through the full digital B2B product journey (implementation, product education, technical support, billing, etc.). - Knack for disqualifying misaligned prospective partners while prioritizing efforts on new partners that will maximize growth. - Aptitude to resolve customer issues of both technical and transactional nature. - Ability to thrive in a startup environment - effectively adapting to changes, collaborative problem solving, excellent follow-through and collaboration, positive can-do attitude. - Demonstrated intellectual curiosity - eager to learn constantly, bring authentic self to work and ready to embrace diverse ways of thinking and working. - Experience in or knowledge of the insurance industry experience, particularly working with agents/brokers of commercial Property & Casualty and Habitational insurance product offerings is helpful, but not required. - Must live in either Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA areas and be able to work remotely. - Travel up to 25% of the time. Role Description As an Underwriter on our AI Team, you'll sit at the intersection of deep insurance expertise and next-generation technology. You'll be a critical voice in researching, developing, validating, and monitoring AI-driven risk assessment models — helping ensure they reflect real-world underwriting judgment and produce accurate, defensible outcomes. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to some of Honeycomb's most exciting technical initiatives, including: - Computer Vision — helping evaluate and validate AI systems that analyze property imagery for risk assessment purposes. - Generative AI — informing the development of AI-powered tools that assist in quote generation, risk narratives, and underwriting workflows. - Predictive Modeling — contributing your underwriting expertise to proprietary risk models, helping drive more accurate and data-driven outcomes across our book of business. What You’ll Do: - Partner closely with AI researchers and engineers throughout the full model lifecycle — from early research and development through post-production monitoring. - Translate complex underwriting guidelines into clear, consistent property assessments that inform and improve AI models. - Conduct in-depth property reviews to identify gaps or weaknesses in current AI models and recommend improvements. - Supervise labeling teams to ensure accurate property classification in production models. - Provide training and ongoing guidance to annotation teams; perform continuous quality assurance on annotation projects. - Assist in the discovery and evaluation of new and revised AI models, contributing underwriting subject matter expertise. - Maintain open, proactive communication across underwriting and AI teams. - Take on special projects and assignments as the team's needs evolve. The Director of Actuarial is a critical position supporting Honeycomb’s Underwriting Team. In this role, you will report to Honeycomb’s Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) and work closely with the Underwriting, Claims, Finance, and Product/Engineering teams. Commercial Lines Product and Forms Analyst

• Conduct regular and systematic business testing to ensure rating algorithms, underwriting rules, eligibility criteria, and policy forms are operating accurately across all platforms. • Perform regression testing after rate, rule, or form changes are implemented. • Identify defects, document issues clearly, and collaborate with Product, IT, and Compliance teams to resolve discrepancies. • Validate end-to-end policy issuance, including quoting, binding, and document generation workflows. • Maintain test cases, scripts, and documentation to support repeatable and consistent testing practices. • Compile and maintain comprehensive forms listings for each state and product offering. • Partner with Product, Compliance, Underwriting, and Legal to validate required state-specific forms and updates. • Assist in forms mapping and configuration to ensure accurate attachment rules within systems. • Monitor regulatory updates and coordinate necessary adjustments to forms libraries. • Support market expansion efforts by researching state requirements and preparing forms documentation for filings and system configuration. • Work closely with Product Managers, Actuarial, Compliance, Underwriting, and Technology teams to ensure product accuracy and readiness. • Participate in project meetings, product rollout discussions, and system enhancement sessions. • Provide subject-matter expertise on rating and forms behavior within commercial lines systems.
