• Manage construction of new veterinary hospitals and renovation projects from concept through completion. • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to determine project specifications. • Oversee bidding, vendor negotiations, and contract management. • Manage project schedules, milestones, and budgets to ensure successful delivery. • Review and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and structural drawings. • Hire and manage contractors, vendors, and consultants. • Supervise general contractors and construction teams, providing guidance and oversight as needed. • Oversee the permitting process and ensure projects meet regulatory requirements. • Investigate and resolve project issues such as delays, safety concerns, or damage. • Manage budgets for small to medium-sized construction projects. • Monitor project costs, change orders, and financial performance. • Identify and mitigate risk throughout the construction lifecycle. • Oversee facilities repairs and maintenance across existing veterinary centers. • Manage facilities specialist responsible for maintenance and repair requests. • Evaluate facility issues and provide recommendations for repairs and improvements.

Role Description We are looking for passionate and driven veterinary students to join our team and help us spread the word about Heart + Paw, where Pet Care is Reimagined ®. As a Student Ambassador, you act as Heart + Paw’s on-campus ambassador for a school calendar year. You will routinely interact with fellow students to showcase Heart + Paw’s opportunities, externships, and summer jobs program. Our Student Ambassadors have top priority for available externships as well as an opportunity to network with collaborative Veterinarians. No recruiting occurs in this role. - Act as an on-campus brand ambassador - Inform Heart + Paw of any career fair or campus events - Answer questions from fellow students pertaining to externships/summer jobs - Coordinate Fall/Spring student body events with assistance from Campus Recruiter - Attend Student Ambassador specific webinars - Assist with career fairs or booths for events Qualifications - Be enrolled in an accredited DVM/VMD program. - You are authorized to work in the United States.
