Role Description Reporting to the Vice President of Financial Reporting, the Payment Processing Specialist is responsible for the facilitation of the payment process across Health Plans, Inc.’s client base. - Coordinate claim, broker and vendor payment processing as it relates to the clients’ plan expenses. - Coordinate invoicing processes as it relates to client and member billing. - Compile and audit various daily reports pertaining to the payment process. - Research and resolve remittance questions and situations. - Communicate with claim examiners, account managers, and various other departments according to internal and client needs. - Communicate with outside vendors to ensure the issuance and integrity of checks and EOBs created during the check run process. - Facilitate cross-departmental projects pertaining to billing, funding and enrollment that impact the validity of payments issued by the department. Role Description The Senior Account Executive (SAE) plays a strategic leadership role in managing the implementation of new client plans and overseeing the ongoing service and renewal processes for existing clients. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams to resolve complex service issues, guide plan design, and ensure seamless operations. - Provide strategic oversight and consultation to key broker partners, guiding plan development and evolution to align with business objectives. - Mentor and support junior account executives, fostering professional development. - Drive high-level client relationship management and retention strategies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions. - Oversee the implementation of new groups and manage service delivery for existing clients and brokers. - Conduct benefit meetings, produce educational materials, and resolve complex claims/service issues. - Communicate plan design and renewal changes to internal teams to ensure smooth execution. - Develop and present customized employee/employer materials and performance reports. - Advise clients and brokers on compliance and reporting requirements related to benefit plans and federal mandates. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. Requirements - 5–7 years of experience in client services or account management, preferably in the healthcare or benefits administration industry. - Proven ability to manage high-value client accounts and lead strategic initiatives. - Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. - Analytical mindset with attention to detail and systems thinking. - Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams. - Commitment to confidentiality and professional integrity. - Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
