About the role We are looking for an Intake Coordinator to join our Clinical Operations team. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a mission-driven organization looking to transform behavioral healthcare for youth. You will be an integral part of the Clinical Operations team, and work directly with our Clinical Services teams. As a member of the Clinical Operations team, you will be responsible for taking intake calls and walking new patients through the intake process. You’ll help families feel supported and confident in taking the first step toward care - clearly communicating our model, answering questions with empathy, and encouraging them to begin services when appropriate. You will work closely with other teams to implement protocols for the intake process and ensure operational excellence within the clinical organization. What you’ll do Day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: - Manage new patient inquiries and intakes - Schedule and complete intake calls with new families/patients - Educate families on Handspring, our treatment program, and their treatment options. Assess family’s/patient’s suitability for treatment during intake call process and ensure specific criteria is met prior to scheduling assessments - Engage with families empathetically and confidently to help them feel ready and motivated to begin care, addressing hesitations, building trust, and reinforcing the value of early intervention - Address any patient follow up questions, concerns or complaints ahead of initial assessment - Manage clinician’s schedules by setting up initial assessments and coordinating next steps with appropriate Handspring staff - Ensure appropriate staff have the information required to move forward with initial assessments, i.e. prepare patient charts in our EHR system, ensure consent and billing forms are completed, ensure measures are completed - Follow cancellation, rescheduling and no-show policies and procedures as needed - Communicate with new patients via EHR system - Perform consistent follow-ups with pending leads who have not been scheduled - Track intake data, communicating finds to Operations/Business team. About the role Handspring is a mission-driven, early-stage healthcare organization. We are seeking a full-time Clinical Supervisor to join our team. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will oversee and support our team of therapists providing evidence-based CBT therapy. Your role involves providing clinical guidance, ensuring quality care, and fostering professional development among our therapists. You'll conduct individual supervision sessions, facilitate team consultations and offer risk consultations. This position offers the opportunity to shape our clinical approach and mentor therapists while improving mental health outcomes for young patients. This is an opportunity to be a core part of a mission-driven organization that is looking to transform youth behavioral healthcare. You will work closely with Handspring’s Clinical Leadership. What you’ll do - Oversee and provide clinical supervision to therapists. Conduct regular individual consultation sessions to ensure high-quality care and professional development - Facilitate group case consultations and lead team meetings to promote collaborative problem-solving and knowledge sharing - Review and provide feedback on clinical documentation to maintain best practices - Ensure therapists' compliance with safety protocols, documentation requirements, and ethical standards - Provide on-call risk consultation during daytime and evening clinic hours (on a rotating basis) for complex or crisis situations - Mentor and support therapists in their professional growth - Participate in quality assurance efforts, including regular chart audits and outcome measurements - Collaborate with the clinical leadership team to develop and implement new evidence-based treatment approaches and programs What we’re looking for - Licensed mental health professional with at least 10 years post-license experience providing psychotherapy, including 6+ years specifically in pediatric mental health - Experience with supervision and risk management in pediatric outpatient setting - Active, unrestricted clinical license ( LCSW, LPCC, LMFTs, PsyD, PhD) - Ability to work independently with an interest in collaboration and learning - Comfort with using and learning new technologies, including Zoom, Office, electronic health record systems, and other team collaboration tools - Extensive knowledge of CBT. Experience with other evidence-based models, such as DBT and/or behavioral parenting support & training is a plus. - Experience supporting therapists in assessing and managing mild to moderate risk - Experience treating children, adolescents, and/or young adults with a range of diagnoses including depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, behavioral challenges, and other diagnoses of childhood and adolescence Position details - Full-time, remote position - The salary range is $100,000 - $115,000; equity in Handspring - You must be based in the United States and have U.S. work authorization
