As Client Liaison and Administrator, you’ll be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and administrative support across Broad Arrow’s lending, auction, and private sale activities. You’ll work closely with Car Specialists to ensure clients have a smooth, positive experience. What you’ll do Broad Arrow Capital: - Manage all loan onboarding and maintenance tasks, including entering loans, uploading required documents and banking forms, setting up autopay, and updating client payment information - Maintain complete, organized, and compliant deal files; process HPI registrations for UK loans; and complete pre‑ and post‑payout checklists for compliance and audit - Conduct KYC, AML, and credit searches to support due diligence - Oversee the collateral database by reconciling liens, locations, insurance, title status, inspections, and supporting documentation - Update the loan administration system as loans transition into BAC funding lines - Build trusted client relationships through regular follow‑up, managing file updates, collecting required documentation (including insurance, signatures, and supporting materials), and supporting all payment‑related inquiries - Serve as the primary liaison with internal Broad Arrow Group teams—coordinating quarterly valuations, performing NMVTIS searches, and assisting with U.S. lien applications and filings - Assist Broad Arrow Specialists with preparing term sheets, client presentations, and other sales support materials Broad Arrow Auctions and Broad Arrow Private Sales: - Support auction operations by processing catalog requests, bidder registrations and post-sale settlement, including invoicing and payment collection - Provide onsite assistance during auctions and other events as needed - Maintain accurate records in company database and external systems - Provide general administrative support across the EMEA business - Serve as a key point of contact for incoming inquiries (both email and phone) and ensure responses are handled in a timely and professional manner This might describe you - Previous experience in a customer-facing administrative role, ideally within the finance, automotive, collector car, or auction industry - Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail - Positive, collaborative mindset with a strong emphasis on teamwork and delivering the best outcomes for clients - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to remain calm under pressure and demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills - Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage workflow effectively to meet deadlines, including while working independently as part of a remote team - High degree of integrity, confidentiality, and strong work ethic Over and above - Proficiency in European languages is a plus, particularly German, Dutch and Italian. As Manager – Direct Tax, you’ll lead the preparation and review of the company’s U.S. income tax provision under ASC 740 and oversee federal and state tax compliance, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. You’ll manage key areas such as deferred taxes, valuation allowance analysis, and effective tax rate forecasting, while supporting financial statement disclosures and audit requirements. In this role, you’ll also evaluate the tax impact of business initiatives, partner cross-functionally with finance and legal teams, and drive process improvements and strong internal controls across the tax function. The position requires deep technical expertise, strong judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in a complex multinational environment, including partnership structures and public company reporting requirements. The role requires someone dedicated to the continuous improvement of existing processes, technology solutions and documentation. What you’ll do Tax Provision & Reporting (ASC 740) - Prepare and review quarterly and annual income tax provisions under ASC 740, including: - Current and deferred tax calculations - Valuation allowance analysis and documentation - Effective tax rate (ETR) analysis and forecasting - Return-to-provision and true-up analyses - Prepare tax-related financial statement disclosures for Forms 10-Q and 10-K - Support audit process with external auditors and respond to technical inquiries U.S. Tax Compliance - Manage preparation and review of U.S. federal and state income tax returns, including: - Coordination with external advisors - Review of workpapers and supporting documentation - Monitoring filing deadlines and extensions - Oversee estimated tax payments and cash tax forecasting - Ensure compliance with evolving federal and state tax laws Tax Accounting & Technical Analysis - Analyze and document tax positions, including uncertain tax positions (UTPs) - Evaluate impact of new tax legislation and accounting standards on the company - Support accounting for stock-based compensation, fixed assets, and other key tax areas - Assist with deferred tax inventory, including temporary differences and tax attributes Planning & Business Support - Partner with finance, accounting, and business teams on tax implications of transactions - Support tax planning initiatives to optimize the company’s tax position - Assist with modeling impacts of strategic initiatives (e.g., acquisitions, restructurings) - Provide guidance on tax-sensitive business decisions Process Improvement & Controls - Enhance tax provision and compliance processes, including automation and documentation - Maintain and improve internal controls over income taxes - Support SOX compliance and documentation efforts - Assist with implementation or optimization of tax technology solutions Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA and/or Master’s in Tax preferred - 6-8+ years of experience in public accounting and/or multinational corporate tax department - Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and U.S. corporate income tax rules - Experience with U.S. federal and multi-state tax compliance - Experience working with external auditors and managing advisor relationships - Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills This might describe you - Experience in a publicly traded company environment - Familiarity with partnership taxation and complex legal structures (e.g., Up-C structures, outside basis considerations) - Experience with tax provision and compliance software (e.g., OneSource, Corptax, or similar) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities - Effective communication skills, including ability to explain technical concepts - Collaborative mindset with ability to work cross-functionally - Proactive and solutions-oriented approach Over and above - CPA preferred but not required - Experience with Workday Accounting is an asset - Audit defense experience Other things to note - This position is open to U.S. remote work.
