Role Description Grandir UK is looking for a highly organised and detail focused Compliance Administrator to join our friendly Recruitment team. In this role, you will support the administration of safer recruitment and compliance processes across the business, helping to ensure all onboarding and DBS requirements are completed accurately and efficiently. You will also act as a first point of contact for compliance related queries from new starters and existing employees. Employee Relations Specialist – Grandir UK At Grandir UK, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Employee Relations Specialist to join our People Team, playing a key role in fostering a positive, fair and inclusive working environment across our nurseries and support functions. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident Employee Relations professional to lead on complex employee relations matters, provide expert guidance to managers, and help shape people practices that support both our colleagues and the children and families we serve. You will promote a culture of consistency, trust and best practice while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies. Key Responsibilities - Take ownership of complex employee relations matters from initial assessment through to resolution, including disciplinary issues, grievances, investigations and high-risk or safeguarding-related cases. - Provide oversight and guidance for employee relations casework managed by HR Advisors and Employee Relations Specialists. - Lead on cases progressing to employment tribunal stage, guiding the business through each step of the process. - Deliver clear, confident and commercially focused employee relations advice to managers across the organisation. - Handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism, discretion and sound judgement. - Ensure all employee relations activity aligns with UK employment legislation, company policies and best practice. - Support and coach managers through employee relations procedures, building confidence and long-term capability. - Produce clear, well-structured documentation including investigation reports, case summaries and formal correspondence. - Work collaboratively with HR Advisors, HR Administrators and HR Business Partners to deliver a joined-up employee relations service. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of employee relations processes, documentation and ways of working. - Maintain accurate case records and provide insight into trends, risks and opportunities for improvement. We Are Looking For - Extensive experience in a specialist Employee Relations role, confidently managing complex cases in a fast-paced environment. - Proven ability to manage and prioritise multiple employee relations cases simultaneously. - Strong experience handling employment tribunal claims alongside broader employee relations casework. - Up-to-date and practical knowledge of UK employment law. - Ability to influence, advise and constructively challenge managers and senior stakeholders. - Experience coaching, mentoring or developing others within an HR or employee relations environment is desirable but can be developed in the role. - Comfortable working remotely while remaining collaborative, responsive and engaged. - A resilient, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
