Role Description We are looking for a Sales Director Europe (all genders) for our portfolio startup Bidgely. The Director/SM Sales is a member of our core sales team and is responsible for: - Originating new customers and driving deals to a successful close. - Managing relationships across existing clients. - Owning sales targets and formulating go-to-market strategies. - Identifying the resources required for success. - Working closely with presales and technical teams to assess prospects. The role reports into the VP of International Sales. - Manage day-to-day sales efforts for Bidgely’s product suite. - Develop, qualify, and execute sales opportunities through cold outreach and warm introductions. - Collaborate with marketing, technical sales, and product teams for successful deal execution. - Build relationships with customers and key decision-makers. - Monitor and provide timely and accurate forecasts of business performance, opportunities, and pipelines. - Maintain accurate records in Salesforce. - Review, prepare, and negotiate proposals with customers. Qualifications - Utility experience working with/for electric, gas and/or water utilities in Europe/APAC. - Combined experience in B2B SaaS or Enterprise Sales, Software Sales selling to utility-like companies. - Demonstrated knowledge of the deregulated utility space, focusing on customer engagement, electric vehicles, TOU, decarbonization, and demand-side management. - Ability to navigate and manage long sales cycles effectively. - Clear understanding of SaaS solutions, highlighting features, benefits, and ROI to potential clients. - Self-starter mentality with strong relationship-building skills. - Strong emotional intelligence and persuasive attitude towards the value of Bidgely products. - Ability to handle complex sales situations and close multi-million dollar transactions. - Ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment. - This is a consultative sales role, with potential to lead the company in the respective region.
