Who You Are The Music department is searching for a part-time Music Instructor to provide private instruction for Violin, Viola, and Cello. This position will also maintain and grow the private studios for Violin, Viola, and Cello. As well as encourage students to participate in performance opportunities throughout each semester and hold juries at the end of the semester. You will work individually, as well as in collaboration with colleagues, to develop innovative curriculum which meets the needs of our diverse population of students. Student retention and success is your top priority. You will utilize technology and effective teaching strategies to develop students' critical thinking skills. Additional instructional opportunities may become available that include teaching other music-related courses. Course assignments will be made based on experience. You may be asked to teach at different times, locations and modalities to meet the needs of the College. This position does have the opportunity to work remotely occasionally but does require a strong on-campus presence and may require occasional travel to all three FRCC campuses.
