Role Description We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in ETL tools, particularly Talend, to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for: - Developing and designing ETL jobs that meet business requirements and follow best practices. - Configuring Talend Studio, Job Server, and other Talend components. - Creating and refining ETL mappings for data extraction, transformation, and loading. - Developing complex SQL queries for data extraction and loading. - Implementing custom Talend components using scripting languages like Python or Java. - Designing and creating reusable joblets for various ETL tasks. - Troubleshooting and resolving data integration issues in a timely manner. - Mentoring junior team members to improve their Talend development skills. - Staying up to date with the latest Talend and data integration trends and technologies. Qualifications - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Science, or a related field. Requirements - 3-5 years of hands-on experience in any ETL tool (Talend Preferred). - Solid hands-on experience with Talend Open Studio for Data Integration, Talend Administration Centre, and Talend Data Quality. - Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases like Oracle, RedShift, Snowflake. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Ability to work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design data integration solutions. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
