Role Description We are seeking a 1099 Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver high quality, evidence-based therapy and medication management. Contract Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners are expected to be available to provide a minimum of 5 hours per week after school hours Monday to Friday. Weekends are optional. The incumbent reports directly to the Medical Director who will also assign projects and provide general direction and guidance. The candidate is expected to perform duties with minimal supervision. - Provide psychiatric services to individuals who otherwise may not have access to care. - Coordinate treatment planning and care delivery with Fort Health’s network of licensed therapists. - Adhere to Fort Health’s platform guidelines and policies and complete all required training. - Provide unparalleled clinical customer service through the delivery of prompt and empathetic care on the platform. - Provide software and operational feedback to Fort Health’s in-house engineering and operational teams to improve products, workflows, and care delivery. - Implement medication treatment plans for mild to moderate disorders in a virtual clinic (i.e. telehealth) setting. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team of physicians, therapists, along with outside providers. - Ability to message between sessions to support patients and communicate with other internal providers. - Engage and collaborate in clinical meetings, supervision, and team meetings as appropriate. Qualifications - Licensure: Fully licensed, ANCC board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in IL. - Minimum of one year of experience as a (PMHNP) specifically working with children and adolescents post clinicals. - NPI Number: We can point you in the right direction if you don’t have those yet! - DEA: You have a DEA number, or you’re open to acquiring one. - Reliable, high-speed internet access with minimum speeds of 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload. - Desire to work with and learn from some of the top child mental health experts in the field. Requirements - Bilingual English / Spanish highly preferred. - Commitment to working with diverse populations and diagnoses. - Reliable self-starter who is able to work independently and also as part of a team. - Experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting, 3 years and up. What we are looking for: - Licensed Psychologist (PhD, PsyD), LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LMHC licensed to practice in New York (multiple state licenses a bonus). - 2 years of clinical experience working directly with children, teenagers, and families, with experience in evidence-based treatments such as CBT, ACT, and DBT. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and experience delivering effective care through telehealth. - Able to navigate Doxy, EHR, and Google Suite to deliver care and communicate with team members - Passionate about providing direct care and owning a panel of patients for the foreseeable future - Availability to schedule sessions during weekdays 3:30pm-8:30pm and/or weekends as needed - This is a remote position and candidates must reside in the United States and have access to internet What we offer: - Flexible Schedule and Compensation: This is a Part-Time 1099 Contractor role.
