• Oversee day-to-day accounting (GL, AP/AR, payroll, cash management) • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports • Ensure compliance with GAAP and nonprofit fund accounting standards • Assist with Form 990, audits, and regulatory filings • Monitor grant compliance and restricted vs. unrestricted funds • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis • Prepare financial statements and present insights to clients/leadership • Manage accounting systems (QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Real Page) • Identify process improvements and maintain strong internal controls • Supervise and mentor staff (as applicable)
