Director, Euclid Blue
Euclid PowerEuclid Power is on a mission to accelerate the world's transition to renewable energy by providing a platform tailored for renewable energy professionals. The c
Role Description Euclid is hiring a Director to lead our Blue service line, our highest-complexity, most relationship-intensive client engagements. Blue clients aren't buying discrete deliverables; they're buying a trusted operational partner who can sit inside their portfolio and own outcomes across multiple work-streams. The Blue Director makes that possible at scale. You'll directly manage and develop our Program Executive team, build the operational infrastructure that makes Blue repeatable, and serve as the senior relationship holder and strategic partner on our most deeply embedded accounts. This is a people leader, operational builder, and trusted client advisor in one seat, not a role for someone who wants to stay in the weeds of a single engagement, but for someone who can hold the whole system together and make everyone around them better. What You'll Do - Serve as senior client partner and support business development - Hold the senior relationship on major Blue accounts, the person clients call not just when something goes wrong, but when thinking through major portfolio decisions and next steps - Act as a genuine strategic partner to Blue clients: fluent in portfolio development, project CapEx/OpEx financial drivers, acquisition strategy, engineering/construction risk, and financing structures - Work alongside Sales and account managers on Blue pipeline, providing the deal-level credibility and executive presence that brings sophisticated clients across the line - Support proposal development for complex Blue scopes - Coach Program Executives through difficult client situations in real time - Lead and develop the Program Executive team - Serve as the 'Head Coach' for engagement strategy, enabling your team to drive strategic decisions with the client, while helping to 'call plays' within the engagement as needed - Directly manage and develop Euclid's Program Executives—the senior individuals who run Blue engagements day-to-day - Hire, develop internally, and onboard Program Executives as Blue scales - Drive performance management with structured input from clients and cross-vertical stakeholders - Build and own the career path and growth model for the Program Executive role - Mentor the team in Client management best practices, serving as overhead coverage with Clients, but enabling them to own the relationships day to day. - Build the operational foundation for Blue - Define and enforce engagement kickoff standards—how a Blue engagement gets stood up across multiple verticals - Establish cross-vertical handoff protocols so projects move between stages without losing context - Set client reporting standards that reflect Blue's proactive, ownership-oriented communication posture - Develop knowledge capture standards that make engagements transferable and institutional - Co-develop Blue overlay frameworks with vertical Program Managers—the operational infrastructure that enhances discrete vertical SOPs and offerings with the stage continuity and depth of ownership required for Blue engagements. - Ensure Program Executives operate within established standards when appropriate rather than improvising - Own resource governance across Blue - Run regular capacity planning touch-points with vertical Directors and Program Managers - Lead the staffing agreement process at engagement kickoff - Review escalations for within-vertical Blue engagements approaching the Program Executive threshold - Resolve resourcing conflicts when Blue needs compete with vertical workloads - Evolve and strengthen cross-functional staffing strategies to ensure Blue engagements leverage the most appropriate tools and talent from across Services. Qualifications - Deep fluency in utility-scale solar/BESS (DG/C&I preferred in addition) at the deal level. - Client presence that goes beyond delivery. - Your instinct is to help clients think through decisions, not to sell them something. - Experience running or being close to complex, multi-workstream programs. - Proven manager who has developed senior individual contributors. - Experience building systems and processes, not just delivering projects. - Ability to negotiate resource commitments across peer teams without creating adversarial dynamics. - Working knowledge of Development and/or Engineering & Construction is a strong plus. - Background at a services firm delivering managed services or owner's rep programs is a strong plus. - Experience leading a team through a significant structural or cultural transition is a strong plus. Benefits - Remote work, forever! - Competitive benchmarked compensation - Health and retirement benefits - Flexible time off - Exciting, mission-driven work that has impact - Regular company off-sites How You'll Be Compensated The starting base salary for this role is between $300,000 and $350,000 with equity and a performance-based bonus included as part of total compensation.
