Role Description - Assist Senior Associate in evaluating deals, building financial models and creating valuation reports - Perform market research to identify new investment opportunities in their respective sector - Research about the target company and communicate with their existing customer to gather data - Research on potential competitors of the target company - Gather industry information by performing primary and secondary research - Perform valuation analysis via modelling - Review and summarize confidential information memorandums (CIMs) that contains information about future potential investment opportunities - Monitor the portfolio companies with the senior associate, assist in sourcing deals and conducting transactions - Assist and advise Management in the development and implementation of the acquired company’s business strategy - Assist in acquisition of future companies and sourcing of capital - Analyze potential exit opportunities for the current portfolio investment under Essar Capital Qualifications - The individual must have 3+ years of experience in asset management/private equity - The individual must have the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment - Strong statistical and analytical skills to assess the economic performance / analysis of companies and industries - Strong organizational skills, process management and time management skills - Strong oral and written communication, including the ability to communicate effectively across regional teams - Must contain advanced analytical capabilities - Proficiency in MS Office Requirements - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from an institute of repute - CA/CFA - Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from an institute of repute
