This person will lead day-to-day technical support operations for software systems that support clean energy incentive distribution and reporting, with an initial primary focus on IRIS and Illinois Shines. This role is accountable for reliable support delivery, SLA performance, escalation management, and continuous improvement of support tools, documentation, and workflows. The role partners closely with program teams, Accounts Payable, and the IRIS development team to ensure timely issue resolution, facilitate compliance and process updates (including high-impact changes such as participant payment information), and reduce operational and program risk. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Monitoring the progress of projects and communicating progress to management and clients - Technology research, energy savings calculations and analysis - Regular client interaction - Assisting with program design and implementation - Identification and scheduling of resources to complete projects - Organization and facilitation of in-person meetings and conference calls - Maintain tracking related to partnerships and program participation metrics Qualifications - A bachelor’s degree OR a minimum of 2 years of work experience in a related position in lieu of a bachelor’s degree - Exceptional attention to detail - Flexibility and adaptability in regard to project focus - Demonstrated commitment to and consistency in quality control practices - Strong organizational and project management skills - Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills - Ability to work and thrive independently and juggle multiple competing priorities - Proactive and collaborative problem-solving approach - Experience using Microsoft Office Requirements - The salary range for this role is $60,000–$70,000/annually with a target compensation of $66,500/annually based on experience and qualifications - Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a generous retirement package - Energy Solutions provides an excellent benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, other pre-tax contribution plans and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) AI Use At Energy Solutions we believe in the importance of authentic interactions and equitable opportunities.
