We are looking to fill an Energy Efficiency Technical Project Manager II position as part of our Energy Efficiency Programs Department. As a member of the Energy Solutions team, you will have a broad impact on energy efficiency markets and greenhouse gas reductions through our work for major North American utilities, program administrators and other national leaders in energy efficiency. Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to: - Overseeing user acceptance testing for web application users - Working with internal clients to debug, reproduce, document, and fix support problems for production web application systems - Creating visualizations and dashboards using BI tools (e.g. Tableau) - Planning and monitoring of resources to complete projects on time and on budget - Technology research and literature searches - Assisting with program design and implementation - Facilitating and monitoring the progress of projects and communicating progress to internal stakeholders - Organizing and facilitating in-person meetings and conference calls with internal stakeholders - Coordinating implementation activities between internal technical teams and consulting stakeholders - Triaging reporting and software requests to staff and overseeing completion of timely and high-quality deliverables - Managing rollout of software and reporting initiatives to business stakeholders - Leading a team of subject matter experts in execution of regular system updates Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in energy-related discipline with environmental, electrical, information systems management or mechanical engineering preferred, or quantitative background - A minimum of 5 years of work experience and/or graduate school - A minimum of 7 years of work experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree - Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed technical and quantitative analysis, knowledge of data science, and/or experience with information systems management such as SQL - Data literacy as exhibited through a functional understanding of data granularity, data types, and relational databases - Intermediate experience with BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI or equivalent - Intermediate experience with ticketing systems such as Jira or equivalent - Experience using Microsoft Office on an intermediate level - Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational and project management skills - Formidable technical writing and verbal communication skills - Experience managing technical projects and/or small technical project teams, for example: - Projects that establish efficient and scalable routines and processes for data delivery, manipulation, and cleansing. - Projects requiring the design and implementation of simple ETL pipelines; or the configuration of moderately complex low- or Preferred Qualifications: - Excellent personal accountability, including ability to balance competing priorities - Ability to troubleshoot problems involving formulas or complex data sets independently - Excellent attention to detail - Strong technical written and verbal communication skills - Strong organization and project management skills Compensation to commensurate with experience with the pay band of $90,000 - $115,000/Annually with a target range of 90,000 - 103,500/ Annually Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a generous retirement package.
