Role Description - Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise applications to ensure high availability, security, and performance. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues, coordinating with vendors or IT teams as needed. - Manage advanced user access, role design, and governance in alignment with security and compliance policies. - Lead onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring efficiency in provisioning and deprovisioning of access. - Plan, test, and implement complex patches, upgrades, integrations, and major releases in line with change management policies. - Document system architectures, operational procedures, and configuration changes for knowledge sharing and audit readiness. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, design solutions, and drive optimization of application usage. - Provide advanced end-user support, mentoring, and training to enhance adoption and effectiveness. - Ensure compliance with organizational security standards, data protection policies, and regulatory requirements. - Conduct periodic audits of application access, logs, and security configurations to maintain compliance. - Identify and lead opportunities for automation, performance improvements, and system optimization. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. - Relevant certifications on Veeva, Clinical applications are a must. - 4+ years of experience in application administration, configuration, or support is required. - Demonstrated experience managing enterprise Clinical applications, integrations, and lifecycle management is required. (Veeva Clinical, Veeva Vault, etc.) - Experience leading complex troubleshooting efforts and coordinating with vendors and IT teams is required. - Prior experience mentoring Senior and junior administrators or serving as a technical lead is required. Primary Purpose The Operations Financial Analyst works with internal project leaders and liaises with the Contracts Department to forecast, monitor and report on project expenditures. This role performs financial reporting on a project/contracts level. The Operations Financial Analyst, in coordination with the Contracts Department, also supports the project team in the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of subcontractor, consultant, clinical site and vendor agreements and expenditures. Responsibilities - Responsible for all aspects of planning, tracking, analysis and reporting for projects of varying contract type, size, complexity and levels of risk, while complying with overarching financial policies & procedures. - Ability to forecast and identify variances from project plans and pricing; manage change orders and required pricing adjustments; provide first-level financial analysis to Project Leads; and take proactive steps to manage project Cost/Schedule/Performance via liaising between Contracts and Project Leads - Develops and maintains both revenue recognition and management of Estimates to Complete (ETCs), Estimates at Completion (EACs), burn rate analyses, and related cost analyses. - Responsible for numerous financial reports detailing monthly progress of the project - Responsible on a project level for all aspects of project financial responsibilities including but not limited to reviewing budgets, receivables and open commitments, monthly closing information, risk analysis, analytical support, and project cost variances. - Work alongside Project Leads to maintain project budgets including monthly budgeted vs. actual cost analysis; create financial forecasts based upon input from the Project Leads; maintain forecasting reports; and identify and communicate any risks such as cost overruns, under spending, vacancy issues etc. to the project leads - Review monthly billing for accuracy and potential issues. Research and take or recommend actions to correct issues identified. Potential identifiable issues include but are not limited to: costs charged to a contract where the POP has ended, inaccurate revenue and profit recognition, unapproved workforce charging, etc. - Prepare internal and external reports on the financial status of assigned projects, including documentation and pricing in support of contract modifications and change control process throughout the project life cycle. - Review and provide necessary LCATs and LCAT billing rates and period of performance to Contracts; and assign LCATs to staff. - Prepare presentation of financial status and performance as regular updates for operations meetings, for project management on at least monthly basis, and for Research Unit reviews on a quarterly basis - Perform subcontractor and purchase order management activities including preparing purchase requisitions, processing of invoices, and preparation of accruals for projects - Responsible for all aspects of planning, processing, submitting, and reconciling clinical site payments as need per project - Perform any Ad Hoc reporting requested by either Project Leads or Contract Managers Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree is required preferably in a Business, Accounting or Finance disciplines with 2 years of professional experience in budgeting, finance and/or Federal/Commercial contracts management - Experience with various types of contracts, subcontracts, or grants to include Cost Reimbursable contracts, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Time and Material (T&M) contracts - Experience working with or for a Contract Research Organization (CRO) a plus, especially within clinical trials and/or pharmaceuticals setting - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work comfortably with budgets and multiple company departments - Excellent communication skills, both oral and written - Strong computer skills including high proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and data analysis software packages; familiarity with Microsoft Access and Project CONNECT WITH US! Primary Purpose The AI Authoring Solution Lead will own the roadmap and execution for Emmes’ Veriscribe solution, driving feature development and platform evolution in alignment with user needs and business goals. This role bridges product management and client enablement, playing a key part in shaping product capabilities while actively supporting new client onboarding, delivery frameworks, and internal capability building. The AI Authoring Solution Lead will manage a cross-functional team of AI engineers, software developers, testers and designers to define and prioritize product enhancements, communicate roadmap, scale the business and ensure client success. The ideal candidate will combine a background in product management with a strong understanding of the application of AI agents and LLMs in support of clinical trial workflows. Responsibilities - Drive the strategic roadmap, aligning product direction with customer needs, business priorities, and market trends in AI and LLM based document authoring and automation. - Prioritize and develop product requirements for cross functional team to deliver high value capabilities in an iterative manner - Perform user and market research – lead discovery with medical writers, biostatisticians, and clinical operations; synthesize insights into opportunity sizing and competitive positioning - Serve as the product SME in client engagements, leading onboarding and training sessions, conducting needs assessments, gathering detailed requirements, and translating them into product roadmap, success metrics, and support frameworks that drive customer value and adoption - Drive internal capability building by developing training content, onboarding materials, and demo assets to enable sales, implementation, and support teams. - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product adoption, customer satisfaction, market share; make strategic adjustments based on data insights. - Collaborate with business development and pre-sales teams to position the product effectively in the market, develop compelling value propositions, and support sales efforts through expert input into RFPs, solutioning sessions, and customer presentations.
