• As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for end-to-end bookkeeping and payroll, managing client accounts, taxation and ensuring accurate financial reporting. • You will play a key role in delivering excellent client service by helping clients stay compliant and confident in their finances, while also supporting management with timely, reliable reports to guide strategic decision-making. • End-to-end Bookkeeping: You have good practical bookkeeping experience, mainly using Xero, and are confident working within the platform. • Preparation of Financial Statements: You have working knowledge in Australian tax accounting, including assisting with Income Tax Returns and Financial Statements for Companies, Trusts, Individuals, and Partnerships. • Payroll processing: You have a solid understanding of Australian payroll requirements, including Superannuation, payroll tax, and PAYG. • AR & AP processing: You have experience using tools such as Hubdoc and Dext to manage client documents. • Client management: You are organised, able to manage your workload independently, and comfortable communicating directly with clients to obtain required documents and information. • Regulatory Compliance and control: You have experience supporting compliance with Australian accounting standards, assisting with BAS/IAS lodgements, and maintaining accurate and reliable financial records and reports.
