Role Description This role will be an MDM on an innovation platform within Eastman’s CASE division. The person in this role will be responsible for the development and execution of strategies to activate brands and the value chain for coated paper articles and flexible packaging used in the food service and consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries. This role requires up to 30% travel. Key Accountabilities - Earnings: Drive variable margin gains by closing new business initiatives. - Growth: Measure growth by launch effectiveness, projected revenue from Gate 5 launches, and new business from market development and innovation. - Talent Management: Provide marketing expertise and coaching to teams and manage personal career development. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or advanced education in strategic marketing required. - 8+ years of experience in commercial, marketing, or product management roles. - 5+ years experience launching new products in relevant markets (Preferred). - 5+ years working in marketing in the paper value chain, e.g., for a paper manufacturer or a converter/manufacturer of paper articles, engaging the flexible packaging and food service markets (Preferred). - Strong business and marketing acumen. Role Description This position is for an experienced scientist to support product development and formulation of Eastman’s Biodegradables products. This position will report through the Biodegradables Technology Division. - Scale up existing products in the Biodegradables Technology product portfolio at internal and external facilities. This includes acting in a hands-on, active participatory and leadership capacity. - Hands-on development of SOPs, documentation, and best practices for compounded product production; sharing with and translating procedures to internal and external parties as required. - Partner with internal Eastman stakeholders to harmonize product data with existing data management systems. - Recommend further opportunities for process improvement and cost savings. - Coordinate and, when needed, execute analytical testing for process improvement projects at both internal and external testing laboratories. - Work collaboratively with Operators, Scientists, Technicians, and Engineering partners to collaboratively scale-up polymer formulations as part of the commercialization process. - Provide timely communications to management and project stakeholders by communicating project needs, value, priorities, and decisions to ensure project success. - Serve as Eastman’s technical field liaison during scale up and commercialization—rapidly build trust with customers and contract manufacturers through clear, professional communication; provide constructive, collaborative coaching and direction to customer and operator teams while managing expectations and capturing feedback for continual improvement. Role Description The Business Development Manager is responsible for executing our business strategy at the downstream customer level, enabling customer success through identifying, developing, and securing new specifications for Eastman offerings in downstream applications. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the way Eastman strategically develops its business in the semiconductor industry, placing you at the forefront of this innovative initiative. Approximately 50%+ travel is required for this role. This full-time, remote position is home-office based. Reporting to the North America Sales Manager, this role offers an exciting opportunity to develop new business for our circular offerings in downstream applications. The goal is enabling customer success and optimizing volume, revenue, and stable value-add growth for Eastman. To effectively accomplish this, the Account Manager must prioritize efforts across their territory, generate demand through discovery to uncover unmet needs, articulate compelling customer value propositions and develop account strategies which align with the business strategies.
