Role Description Earthjustice seeks a Senior Attorney to advance our organization’s legal work to protect public lands, wildlife, and oceans. Role Description The Prospect Development Analyst coordinates aspects of data entry, relationship management, and hygiene for the Justice Partners - Midlevel Giving team’s growing portfolios. This position works closely with frontline gift officers to help them execute on donor strategies, activities, and solicitations for donors in their portfolios. This position works both in an administrative capacity to ensure timely and accurate data entry of strategic donor activities and strategic capacity to monitor, report out, and provide insights to help the team achieve its fundraising goals and performance metrics. The Analyst leads the Justice Partners (Midlevel Giving) Team’s Moves Management process by scheduling and facilitating quarterly portfolio meetings, top prospect reviews, pipeline management, donor strategy sessions, annual budgeting, and the annual goal-setting processes. This is a non-supervisory position. Role Description Earthjustice seeks a two-year Project Attorney to join our Healthy States project. Candidates must have at least seven years of litigation or a combination of litigation and legal policy experience. The project attorney will work with staff on the Healthy Communities team and members of Earthjustice’s regional offices to help identify and develop novel litigation, legal advocacy, and regulatory strategies using state and local laws in a small number of jurisdictions. The Foundations Officer II (Officer II) is an integral part of the foundation relations team, which raises approximately one-quarter of Earthjustice's contributed revenue annually. The fundraisers on the team are supported by functional experts on other teams across the department, including writers, engagement strategists, researchers, analysts, and systems/operations personnel. The Officer II is an externally facing role focused on raising grant support for both Earthjustice and Earthjustice Action [(c)(4)] - managing a portfolio of current and prospective high-profile foundation donors. What You'll Do Foundation Solicitation, Relationship Development, and Grants Management: (50%) - Manage portfolio of current and prospective supporters capable of giving mid-to-high six figures and low seven figure foundation grants, targeting a minimum of $2 - $4 million annually toward the team's cash goal. - Implement custom stewardship plans for current donors, including managing grant proposals, reporting deadlines, timely acknowledgements, and other deliverables; and identifying and developing opportunities for personal engagement between foundation contacts and staff and trustees/board members, such as one-to-one meetings, event invitations, and program update briefings. - Ensure growth of donor base and increased giving by identifying, researching, and cultivating potential sources of foundation support in partnership with prospect management team and by developing strong relationships between funders and our leadership and program teams. The Associate Attorney position is a three-year position with the potential for extension, designed to help attorneys who are in the early stages of their careers to develop into thoughtful, professional, and effective advocates skilled in the various phases of public interest litigation. Role Description Earthjustice’s Washington, DC Regional Office is seeking a fall 2026 science intern. We are seeking graduate students who share a passion for justice and a healthy environment. The intern will research various scientific questions to assist Earthjustice’s advocacy work before federal agencies and courts. The fall 2026 science intern is expected to work 10-15 hours/week for 10-12 weeks. The successful candidate may work fully remote from the U.S. or on a hybrid schedule from our Washington, DC office.
