Role Description We’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded Head of Strategic People Partnering to lead strategic HR partnership across executive leadership populations and play a pivotal role in shaping organisational capability, culture, workforce planning, and long-term business performance. This is a highly visible leadership role partnering with senior executives and their leadership teams to drive enterprise-wide people outcomes across a complex, international environment. You will bring strategic insight, challenge and influence to business decisions, ensuring people strategy enables growth, transformation and organisational success. As Head of Strategic People Partnering, you will lead strategic people partnership for executive and senior leadership populations, aligning workforce decisions with business priorities across multiple geographies. You’ll work at the intersection of strategy, organisation design, leadership capability, succession planning and transformation—helping leaders navigate change while building sustainable organisational performance. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable operating strategically at executive level and translating priorities into practical, high-impact people outcomes. Responsibilities - Acting as the trusted strategic people partner to executive leadership teams and their direct reports. - Shaping and influencing organisational strategy through workforce and talent planning. - Driving organisation design decisions that strengthen capability, leadership effectiveness and culture. - Leading succession and talent planning across senior populations, ensuring strong pipelines for critical roles. - Providing strategic guidance during periods of change, including restructures, transformation initiatives and business integration activity. - Partnering with Centres of Excellence and People Operations teams to deliver aligned, scalable people solutions. - Influencing long-term workforce investment and people priorities across business areas. - Supporting annual people cycles and ensuring delivery against strategic objectives. - Managing complex and high-impact people matters with sound judgement and commercial awareness. Qualifications - Significant experience in strategic HR partnering at executive or enterprise level. - Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders with credibility and impact. - Expertise across organisational design, leadership effectiveness, workforce strategy and change. - Experience leading large-scale transformation, restructuring and/or M&A integration activity. - Strong commercial judgement and the ability to balance people outcomes with business priorities. - Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills. - Degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience) in HR, Business, Organisational Development or a related discipline. - CIPD qualification (or equivalent) desirable. Role Description As the Total Rewards Specialist, you will support the development, administration, and enhancement of compensation, benefits, RRSPs, and disability programs across our Canadian operations. You will work closely with leaders across the business, People & Culture partners, vendors, and employees to ensure our programs are effectively managed and clearly communicated. Key Responsibilities - Compensation & Rewards - Lead and coordinate annual compensation processes, including merit and bonus cycles - Conduct market benchmarking and salary analysis to support competitive pay practices - Manage job evaluations and maintain salary structures and grading frameworks - Provide compensation insights and recommendations to support recruitment, promotions, workforce planning, and internal equity reviews - Assist with compensation costing and analytics related to budgeting and workforce initiatives - Benefits Administration - Administer employee benefit programs, including health, dental, life insurance, disability, retirements, and RRSPs - Lead annual benefits enrollment processes and employee communications - Coordinate with benefit carriers and RRSP partner to resolve inquiries and ensure service excellence - Support disability administration processes and maintain accurate documentation and follow-up - Compliance, Reporting & Program Support - Ensure compliance with applicable employment standards, pension legislation, and privacy requirements - Prepare regulatory reporting and annual total rewards statements - Maintain and enhance total rewards policies, procedures, and documentation - Partner with HR Governance & Analytics and broader People & Culture teams to support HRIS and reporting processes - Collaborate with Group HR on global rewards initiatives and best practices Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline - CCP, CEBS, CPHR, or SHRM designation is considered a strong asset Requirements - Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in compensation, benefits, or total rewards - Strong understanding of compensation principles, including market pricing, salary structures, pay equity, and incentive programs - Experience administering Canadian benefits and pension programs - Knowledge of disability administration processes and coordination with external providers - Strong analytical and technical skills, including advanced Excel proficiency and experience with HRIS systems - Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and professionally - Proven ability to build trusted relationships across teams and levels of the organization - Strong project coordination and vendor management capabilities Benefits - Competitive compensation and annual incentive opportunities - Comprehensive health and dental coverage from day one - RRSP matching program - Flexible work arrangements within BC and Alberta - Opportunities for professional growth and development - A supportive, team-oriented environment where your contributions are valued - Meaningful work that supports the transition to a more sustainable energy future

Key accountabilities include: - Take full responsibility for customers’ contract performance and operational delivery, working closely with the Service Relationship Management team for support. - Drive new business and renew existing sales for Import Flex and Fixed supply contracts, aiming to exceed sales goals. - Navigate a complex environment, including regulated markets, lengthy procurement processes, political oversight, and customers with needs beyond pricing. - Develop and clarify public sector frameworks available to the market, aligning solutions with the most suitable and commercially viable procurement paths.
