Your role Certified Social Compliance Auditor (APSCA CSCA) to conduct Sedex/SMETA audits DQS Inc., a leading global independent business service organization delivering assurance to customers with standards-based solutions, has an immediate opening for a qualified APSCA Auditor to conduct Sedex/SMETA audits. The candidate will have a successful work history, in addition to strong interpersonal and organizational skills with excellent written and oral communication capabilities. The candidate will also have the ability to work in a virtual, home-based environment and travel within the US. - Knowledge of EMS principles and methods for standard assessments. - Must be able to assess customer needs, meet quality standards for services and evaluate customer satisfaction. - Work independently and project a professional image appropriate to the work environment. - Critical thinking skills using logic and reasoning to identify solutions to concerns. - Experience with quality management systems, 2nd and/or 3rd party certifications, 14001/45001/RC auditing/assessments. - Excellent communication and follow-through skills. Your role ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Develops and submits on time scope of certification and audit agendas through consultation with customers. Confirms audit days are adequate based on headcount and complexity. Presents audit plans to customers and the audit team. Manages the audit. - Determines the customer’s degree of readiness for assessment to appropriate standards. Assists customers in understanding the standard and program requirements. - Directs the conduct of the audit and the activities of audit team members. - Assesses the conformance of the management system to multiple standards through performing system and process audits including review of customer documentation and records, interview of customer management and staff, and observation of customer processes. - Documents audit results including audit trails, strengths and opportunities and nonconformities. - Prepares audit reports and supporting documentation for submission on time. - Reaches team consensus on the audit results having final responsibility for the team conclusions. Presents results of audit to client verbally and in writing. - Assists in training, qualification and ongoing evaluation of candidate auditors and auditors. - Assists in analyzing customer responses to nonconformities for acceptance in a timely manner. - Performs audits in accordance with DQS Inc. program and accreditation requirements. - Supports DQS Inc. key performance indicators and objectives. - Performs other duties as directed. Your profile EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED: - International Automotive Task Force (IATF) certification (Green Status in ADP) - Exemplar Global or equivalent approved 40-hour QMS Lead Auditor training course with exam - Four (4) years of full-time appropriate practical experience, including two (2) years dedicated to quality assurance and/or quality management activities in an automotive manufacturing organization - Note: Experience in industries with similar scopes of applicability (e.g., Aerospace, - Telecommunications, Rail, Industrial Off-Road Equipment, etc.), chemical, electrical, or metallic commodities may be considered. - 5+ years of Auditing Experience (preferred) - Knowledge of principles and methods for standard assessments - Experience with management systems, 2nd and 3rd party certifications, ISO-9001 processes, and/or previous certification auditing/assessment skills is highly desired - Knowledge in Automotive Core Tools (at minimum FMEA, MSA and SPC) - Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications - Critical thinking skills using logic and reasoning to identify solutions to concerns - Excellent oral and written communication and follow-through skills - Accountability - Time-management - Ability to work independently in a virtual, home-based environment EEO is the Law Right to Work Poster (English) DQS Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
