Dircks Moving & Logistics is seeking a Residential Salesperson who will be involved in interactions with our Customers, Operations, and Customer Support while ensuring we deliver the highest quality service to our customers. SUMMARY The Residential Virtual Survey Salesperson is a fully remote sales role responsible for generating revenue by conducting virtual surveys only and converting residential moving and storage opportunities into booked orders. The position requires strong virtual presentation skills, rigid follow-up discipline, CRM mastery, and a closing mindset. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Virtual Surveys and Sales Execution - Conduct residential virtual surveys to accurately assess move scope and customer needs. - Deliver confident, professional virtual sales presentations that convert estimates into booked orders. - Clearly explain estimates, valuation options, service levels, transit timelines, and move expectations. - Close sales directly during or immediately following virtual survey appointments when possible. - Maintain target closing ratios and individual revenue and profit goals. Follow Up and Pipeline Ownership - Execute timely follow-up on all assigned leads using CRM workflows, calls, texts, and email. - Actively maintain complete and accurate CRM records, including notes, tasks, next actions, and status updates. - Review commissions, pending shipments, closing ratios, and performance metrics regularly. Lead Generation and Relationship Building - Proactively generate self-sourced leads through relationship building with realtors, property managers, senior living communities, and referral partners. - Build and maintain long-term referral relationships that consistently produce residential moving opportunities. - Leverage phone, email, social platforms, and networking opportunities to expand referral network. Survey Accuracy and Operational Alignment - Deliver accurate estimates within acceptable variance for weight and cubic footage. - Demonstrate knowledge of current pricing, valuation options, and service offerings. - Utilize all required estimating, CRM, and virtual survey tools correctly and consistently. - Coordinate closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of booked moves. - Assist with issue resolution when customer questions or concerns arise pre or post booking. Professional Standards and Team Participation - Participate in virtual sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews. - Apply coaching and feedback to continuously improve sales effectiveness and customer experience. - Support team coverage needs during high volume periods when required. - Maintain a professional appearance, communication style, and brand representation at all times. Skills and Abilities - Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills. - High level of organization, discipline, and personal accountability. - Comfort using CRM systems, virtual survey platforms, and digital communication tools. - Ability to build trust quickly and guide customers through high stress decisions remotely. - Strong time management and follow through. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000 per hour
