Role Description Epicor Specialist will be responsible for advancing the effective use of Epicor ERP to support operational excellence, data integrity, and informed decision-making across manufacturing operations. This position requires the ability to context-switch between companies, adapt Epicor usage to differentiate operational needs, and maintain consistency where shared processes exist. - Collaborate with staff to develop, implement, and manage its usage of Epicor, focusing on ensuring timely, accurate, and actionable data is delivered to the team. - Ensure inputs (e.g., resource groups, rates, methods) are reliable, working with the operations team when changes are needed. - Assess the functionality of the system to achieve operational objectives, collaborating with the on-site team to suggest, implement, and monitor changes achieving desired objectives. - Create a suite of on-demand information (including scheduling, operating performance, and productivity). - Collaborate with operations personnel to develop and implement improved operating procedures related to the output of the improved data. - Provide user support, including developing and implementing new employee training and ongoing user training. - Work with Permag’s Epicor Manager to ensure that the “voice of the user” is being reflected in the manner in which each company uses Epicor, and that such usage is consistent (tailored to local needs) with the overall usage at Permag. - Partner with operational leaders to implement modules, add-ons, and customizations that improve the functionality and user experience of ERP, managing subcontractors as necessary to implement with a focus on sustainability and upgrade safety. - Manage Epicor change requests by evaluating impact, coordinating testing, documenting changes, and communicating updates to ensure system stability and data integrity. - Support Permag’s ERP roadmap. - Assist other departments as needed with various tasks and projects. - Other duties as assigned. The role can be remote at the employee’s option, but the employee will be expected to travel to Permag’s various sites on an as-needed basis. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or higher in an IT-related field such as computer science, technical support, operations management, or equivalent experience. - ITIL Certifications or similar process/governance certifications preferred. Requirements - 5+ years of hands-on experience managing ERP systems in a manufacturing environment (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, NetSuite, etc.). - 5+ years in computer networks solutions, operating systems, or other IT-related positions.
