Role Description This is a non-union contract position scheduled to work 25 hours per week. Funding of this position is confirmed until March 31, 2027. This is a virtual position, based out of Employment Services Brampton. Under the supervision of the Regional Site Manager and/or Assistant Manager, the Facilitator, Mindset Makeover Program, delivers a short-term intervention supporting newcomer women facing employment barriers by strengthening mindset, confidence, and readiness for work. - Leads workshops on growth mindset, resilience, imposter syndrome, and personal branding. - Fosters an engaging and supportive learning environment. - Conducts assessments and develops individualized action plans. - Provides ongoing coaching and follow-up. - Coordinates mentorship activities and connects participants to community resources. - Enhances participant self-efficacy and engagement, enabling successful transition into employment services, training, or job opportunities. Qualifications - Post-secondary diploma or degree in Social Services, Career Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience in employment counselling or career advising. - Minimum 1-year experience working with women-focused programs supporting immigrant and minority women. - Experience with guided journaling, motivational interviewing, and group facilitation techniques. - Knowledge of solution focused counselling, group dynamics and adult learning principles. - Familiarity with local community services and supports. - Certification in facilitation, instructional design or adult education is an asset. - Life Skills Coaching Certificate is an asset. - Advanced proficiency in delivering presentations and facilitating workshops. - Strong knowledge of job search strategies, employment programs, and labour market trends. - Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. - Experience using case management systems and maintaining accurate documentation. - Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email. - Knowledge of virtual collaboration tools including MS Teams and Moodle. - Must be willing to provide itinerant services and work regularly across multiple locations throughout the GTA. - Required to provide a valid Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) Police check completed within the past 6 months. Requirements - Conduct an initial assessment for clients to determine eligibility for Mindset Makeover Program. - Conduct comprehensive client intakes using the Common Assessment Tool and Employment Service suitability indicators. - Develop individualized Employment Action Plans aligned with labour market opportunities and client readiness. - Monitor client progress and adjust employment plans as required. - Recruits and onboards mentors through outreach. - Conducts outreach to promote program participation. - Provides one-on-one employment counselling to support job search strategies, career exploration, and employment readiness. - Tracks and analyzes group coaching session enrollment, attendance, and client feedback. - Maintain accurate, timely, and complete case notes and service records in accordance with funder requirements. Role Description This is a part-time non-Union contract position scheduled to instruct 3 client cohorts, consisting of 20 hours per week for 8 weeks. The three cohort dates are as follows: - #1: March 16 to May 8, 2026 - #2: June 15 to August 7, 2026 - #3: September 14 to November 6, 2026 The position assumes online facilitation (Monday to Friday, from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm). This position is located at 3100 Rutherford Road, Suite 102, Vaughan (Virtual). To deliver high-quality Early Childhood Education (ECE) language training that supports clients in achieving employment. Qualifications - TESL Ontario Certified. - Post-secondary diploma or degree in Social Services, Career Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - Minimum of two (2) years’ experience teaching ESL or LINC at the higher CLB levels. - In-depth knowledge of and experience using the Canadian Language Benchmarks and the LINC curriculum guidelines or the Curriculum Guidelines for the Ontario Adult Non-Credit Language Training Program. - Previous experience providing online facilitation or online course delivery. The ability to provide technical troubleshooting will be considered an asset. - Experience in curriculum design or adaptation for intermediate levels/pre-employment language training programs. - Completion of Portfolio-Based Language Assessment (PBLA) will be an asset. - Knowledge of access to career issues facing newcomers, job search techniques, employment-related vocabulary, and professional terminology. - Experience working with diverse client populations, including individuals facing barriers to employment. - Client-centered Communication & Relationship Building: Builds trust through empathetic, professional, and effective communication with diverse clients and partners. - Facilitation, Collaboration & Interpersonal Skills: Engages individuals and groups while working collaboratively to support integrated service delivery. - Problem-Solving, Judgment & Adaptability: Applies critical thinking and sound judgment to address client needs in a dynamic environment. - Accountability, Organization & Results Orientation: Manages priorities effectively while delivering accurate, high-quality work and achieving performance targets. - Knowledge of Microsoft Office / Microsoft Office Suite, including commonly referenced tools such as Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and email. - Knowledge of virtual collaboration and service-delivery tools, especially MS Teams, Moodle, and other online tools used for workshops, coaching, and service delivery. - Knowledge of databases, reporting tools, and data-entry systems used for documentation, tracking and reporting. - Required to provide a valid Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) Police check completed within the past 6 months. Requirements - Achieves individual service delivery targets, including group coaching session delivery and others as required from time to time. - Tracks, monitors, and reports on key performance indicators and adjusts service delivery approaches as needed to meet program targets. - Maintains attendance records, participants' progress reports, and other documentation as required. - Demonstrates accountability for individual and team performance outcomes, ensuring alignment with funder expectations and organizational standards. - Engages in ongoing learning and professional development, including participation in training sessions, knowledge-sharing activities, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the year. - Works collaboratively with internal roles to support coordinated service delivery. - Participates in team meetings, case discussions, and service planning activities as required. - Provides professional input to improve service delivery and client outcomes.
