• Prepare, review and file corporate acts such as articles of incorporation, bylaws, minutes of shareholder/partner meetings and documents for company formation or dissolution. Work directly with agencies such as the Commercial Registry (Junta Comercial), Federal Revenue Service (Receita Federal), municipal governments and Finance Departments to obtain registrations and licenses; • Monitor the validity of Negative Debt Certificates (Certidões Negativas de Débitos - CNDs) and manage renewals of operating, sanitary and safety permits. Maintain management systems (e.g., Pipefy or Excel) to ensure SLA control and visibility of each process status; • Conduct prior site and trade name availability checks to ensure planned operations are permitted by regulators; • Practical experience with VRE, Redesim and municipal licensing systems for permits, as well as CRM systems and alvarás (licenses/permits); • Register, correct and maintain records in the firm’s internal system, including recording financial transactions; • Prepare and send correspondence and documents; • Enter data into the financial posting/system of record; • Assist with managing the law firm attorneys’ calendars.
