• The Senior Peer Support Specialist will demonstrate an understanding of, and be proficient in, IPS and will use IPS in all interactions with senior peer support participants. • Make weekly scheduled calls to individuals enrolled in the program, provide IPS support and information regarding resources as requested. • Identify local addiction and mental health recovery support resources and older adult or alter-able resources that are available in designated area, using the Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) website. • If requested, assist in connecting with these resources. • In a clear, accurate, timely, professional and effective manner, complete Senior Peer Support call logs and complete other data entry. • Maintain a call calendar/schedule and place calls to assigned Older Adults /Persons with Disabilities as scheduled. • Attend meetings, conferences, trainings and supervision sessions as required. • Communicate by email and telephone with outreach supervisor on a regular basis.
• Provide confidential, non-judgmental and non-critical support to callers • Take calls from callers around the state and provide phone support • Participate in ongoing training and team-building • Keep track of all data logs; enter data and present data in a professional manner • Write reports as necessary to the Warmline Shift Leader or assigned Warmline Supervisor
• Will take calls from callers around the state and provide them phone support as taught in the training provided by CCS. • Will take part in ongoing training and team-building and will work closely with other Shift Leaders in a work environment that may require improvements and change. • Keep track of all data logs; enter data and present data in a way that accurately and professionally represents warmline activity. • Write reports as necessary to the Warmline Shift Leader or assigned Warmline Supervisor (depending on Shift Leader availability). • Provide all information in a timely and professional manner.
• Support the smooth daily operation of the David Romprey Oregon Warmline. • Provide direct support to teams of on-duty Peer Support Operators. • Work closely with the shift and On-Duty Supervisor to provide support and direction regarding duties and utilization of software to the operators in compliance with established policies and procedures to ensure team continuity. • Serve as a substitute On-Call Supervisor as needed. • Respond and provide work direction to staff to ensure the smooth operation. • Coach and mentor less experienced team members. • Track the progress of the teams as they work virtually. • Utilize Outlook Teams, call center, /Talk Desk, and basic information technology to provide support to the assigned team. • Assist with minor technical issues. • Track breaks to ensure adequate coverage. • Attend and actively participate in regularly scheduled online all-staff meetings including participation in role-plays and/or co-reflection to facilitate operator skills development.
