Role Description We are looking for a Data Engineering Manager to join our Technologies team! The Data Engineering Manager is responsible for the direct supervision of the Data Engineering team. As a hands-on leader of the Data Team, the Data Engineering Manager is responsible for the overall design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines, data models, and associated tools. This is a full-time remote position, Monday-Friday. Essential Functions - Lead, manage, and mature a team of data engineers. - Partner with leadership to help align talent and resources to support the needs and goals of the company. - Act as a leader and positive role model to all levels of the CCP TASS Data Team. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the business context, use cases, and requirements for data products and pipelines. - Plan data engineering strategies and implement process improvements. - Manage data engineering team workload and bandwidth. - Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and problem/incident management with a focus on preventing incidents and analysis to detect significant problems or trends. - Lead the design and implementation of analytical data models and physical database objects. - Lead the development and monitoring of data pipelines and ETL/ELT from beginning to end. - Identify tasks where manual participation can be eliminated and develop an automated solution. - Develop, explore, and implement processes to enhance data quality, accessibility, and governance. - Maintain data documentation and definitions. - Apply software engineering best practices to engineering and analytics code (ex: version control, testing, continuous integration, etc.). - Stay abreast of national or innovative trends/tools in healthcare analytics and data services. - Provide a consistently high level of customer service to data product end users. Compensation: $97,000-$130,000 Annually Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. - Minimum one (1) year of leadership or management experience required. - Minimum three (3) years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or analytics engineering required. - Experience writing and producing analytical SQL required. - Experience writing and producing analytical Python and/or R required. - Experience working with Git and the command line required. - Experience in data modeling, data integration, and ETL/ELT development required. - Experience with modern data ingestion, orchestration, and transformation technologies such as dbt and AirFlow as well as traditional integration/management tools such as SSIS and Informatica preferred. - Experience with Agile and DevOps/DataOps preferred. - Experience working with diverse clinical health care systems including, but not limited to Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR) systems, Practice Management (PM) systems, imaging systems, pharmacy systems, HIE data, and Population Health Management systems preferred. - Experience working with medical or pharmaceutical health claims or other health plan data preferred. Role Description Our Central Billing Office is growing! We are looking for a Certified Coder to join our team! Position is a full-time remote position, Monday - Friday. Our certified coders provide coding support to multiple departments as well as practitioners and staff. - Timely input of charges in accordance with department needs. - Maintain strict established charge batch turnaround times set by the department. - Utilize web-based tools, coding books and other available resources to facilitate accurate charge entry. - Assist in reducing denials by maintaining required accuracy levels and following outline protocols. - Process any discrepancy reconciliation and closing of charge batches across all systems. - Respond to inquiries from provider offices and various internal departments in a timely and professional manner. - Responsible for Claim Edit Reports and Unassigned Money Reports. - Comply with and enforce all policies and procedures related to the position, the department and the company. - Achieve goals set forth by supervisor regarding error-free work, transactions, processes and compliance requirements. Qualifications - Minimum one (1) year of experience in an HMO, Managed Care Organization or in a health care setting required. - Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and medical chart review required. - Knowledge of ICD-10 diagnosis and procedure codes, CPT codes, and HCPCS codes required. - Experience coding using an ICD-10-CM code book (without using encoder software) required. - Working knowledge of HIPAA requirements, recognizing commitment to privacy, security, and the confidentiality of all medical chart and patient health information required. - Chronic Conditions knowledge preferred. - Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint is required. - CCS/CCS-P (Certified Coding Specialist) or CPC/CPC-A (Certified Coding Professional) required. Requirements - Demonstrated knowledge of medical record review and diagnosis coding within the health industry. - Demonstrated ability to research, analyze and interpret CMS and State coding and documentation guidelines and apply to chart review, coding, and auditing. - Demonstrated ability to pro-actively identify problems, as well as recommend and/or implement effective solutions. - Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and develop relationships both internally and externally. - Demonstrated ability to work with and maintain confidential information. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Flexibility to adapt to a changing and fast-paced environment. - Excellent organizational and planning skills. - Exemplary attention to detail and completeness. - Demonstrated success working remotely, without direct supervision.
