Role Description The Mechanical Engineer (Offer Management) plays a key role supporting the offer management team in Germany. He is responsible for the technical and economic evaluation of customer enquiries and the preparation of competitive quotations. - Analysis of customer enquiries with regard to technical feasibility and economic conditions. - Preparation of quotation documents including technical specifications, calculations and delivery times. - Coordination with internal departments such as design, purchasing, production and sales. - Providing technical advice to customers during the quotation phase. - Identifying potential for optimization to improve competitiveness. - Participating in contract negotiations and handovers to project management. - Independent recognition of priorities and corresponding processing of customer requests. - Design 2D drawings and 3D models in Mechanical CAD (Siemens NX), that are aligned to the internal specifications, performance requirements and safety standards. - Ensuring needs-based communication in unclear situations. - Report spent hours in SAP and Jira ticket system to ensure data quality. Qualifications - Experience with Product Design using Parametric CAD Software (Siemens NX) and Siemens Teamcenter PLM (Product Lifecycle Management). - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where creativity, cooperation, and communication are key. - Ability to keep track and organize work from multiple jobs at once. - Ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing situations. - Able to work within a global team in a remote working environment. - Continuous improvement mindset. Role Description The Electrical Design Engineer (Standardization) plays a key role supporting the standardization team in Germany, creating standard design records for production. This role also supports product changes and data maintenance for product design, collaborating closely with the technical/operations teams to complete standardization projects on time, budget, quality, and safety in a fast-paced project-based environment. - Contribute to projects which may include design, development, rebuilding, cost savings, product improvements, or documentation for new/existing electromechanical products. - Review project designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and related specifications, while supporting the manufacturing and assembly process definition. - Work with SAP to ensure part master data and material details match within the system environment. - Design wiring diagrams and device lists in Electrical CAD (Aucotec ELCAD/Engineering Base) aligned to marketing specifications, performance requirements, and safety standards. - Create bills of material for products and enter product data into the manufacturing systems. Qualifications - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering. - 1+ years of experience in a similar role. - Bilingual – English and German (Basic/Intermediate). - 10%+ Travel availability (Valid Passport & EU Visa). - Knowledge in E-CAD Aucotec ELCAD. - Knowledge in E-CAD Aucotec Engineering Base. - Knowledge in Teamcenter from Siemens. - Knowledge in SAP.
