The successful candidate reports through the Underground Engineering & Construction (UE&C) Department on the Private Development Team. This team is responsible for oversight of planning, design, permitting, contracting, construction management, inspection, asset in-service notification, and closeout of private development projects associated with the water distribution and wastewater collection systems. Entry level engineer. Under close supervision, the successful candidate performs routine engineering assignments requiring knowledge of basic engineering principles. Applies knowledge to prescribed techniques and procedures to complete project assignments. Minimum Salary: $68,300 (Grade 8) Responsibilities - Develops familiarity by reading, understanding and applying departmental design guides, standards, systems, engineering codes, and Citizens policies and procedures. - Develops an understanding and complies with the Citizens Quality Program. Supports continuous improvement and change management efforts. - Contributes to preparation of less complex engineering deliverables such as drawings, reports, specifications, and studies of limited scope. Performs routine research and develops recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection. Collects, assimilates, and manages data for engineering work. Prepares basic engineering calculations following standard methods and principles. - Shares information with others as requested. Coordinates with others when directed by supervisor or project leadership. - Focuses on the needs of internal clients (project team leadership) while attempting to gain basic understanding of external client's main interests and drivers. May provide support to business development or pursuit activities. - Understands and adheres to budget, schedule, and quality requirements. - Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in engineering from either an ABET accredited program or a recognized accredited program in their home country, or sufficient education acceptable by management. - Valid driver’s license in the United States, or alternate approved by management. State of Indiana driver’s license required within 30 days of first day of employment. Preferred Skills/Qualifications - Completion of engineering training program. - Basic knowledge of engineering design and applicable guides and standards related to assigned engineering discipline. Basic knowledge of Citizens Quality Program, construction and constructability practices, and principles. - General understanding and ability to work with computer software in a Windows environment. Ability to work cooperatively in a team setting. Ability to work in office and field environment. Role Description We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager of Treasury to join our team! The Manager of Treasury is responsible for the strategic oversight of the Trust’s cash, liquidity, and debt functions to support financial stability and operational needs. This role provides leadership over the Trust’s banking and investment operations, ensures sound cash and debt management practices, and serves as a key partner to internal stakeholders and external banking institutions. The Manager establishes governance, guidance, and controls cash and treasury accounting activities, supports financial reporting and audit requirements, and advances process and technology improvements across treasury operations. - Oversee daily cash and debt operations, including cash flow analysis, month end close activities, and validation of cash transactions and balances to ensure financial statement accuracy. - Prepare financial statement footnotes related to liquidity, fair value measurements, debt, and other borrowings, and provide cash and debt information to support audit and regulatory reporting. - Research and evaluate banking products, investment options, and funding sources to support effective banking, investment, and debt portfolio management. - Partner with internal business areas to implement and maintain banking technology and reporting solutions. - Provide leadership and coaching to staff and guide the identification and implementation of business improvements. - Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal departments, including Accounting, Human Resources, Billing, and Receivables Management, as well as external banking partners. - Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Accounting or Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and 7+ years of relevant experience including 3+ years of management experience required. - Prior experience preparing financial statements and related footnotes. - Working knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls and application ability. - Demonstrated ability to use financial analysis techniques and tools to provide practical guidance to management and business partners. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively to analyze issues and develop solutions. Requirements - Certified Public Accountant (CPA), MBA, or other relevant professional designation preferred. - Prior experience in a treasury environment or within the utility/energy industry preferred. - Previous banking experience preferred.
