Website: www.wearechorus.com Scope of Work Chorus is looking for someone to support keeping alumni engaged with the program. The person in this role will plan, manage, and track the progress of Chorus’s creator engagement and retention in a thoughtful, value-added way, ensure that our alumni engagement is built to scale as the network increases, and keep a pulse on the creator ecosystem. They will also keep track of what alumni are up to so we can keep shouting out their wins and supporting where possible. We are a small team with an all-hands-on-deck attitude; no task is too small and responsibilities may evolve as project needs do. That said, key responsibilities of this role include: - Alumni Engagement & Community Building. Design and execute initiatives that foster meaningful connections among Chorus alumni, partners, current program members, and staff. Cultivate a strong sense of community through both online and in-person interactions. - Program Development & Strategy. Develop and implement a long-term alumni engagement strategy aligned with Chorus’s goals. Continuously assess alumni needs and create programming that delivers ongoing value (e.g., workshops, events, peer groups, office hours). - Events & Programming. Plan and manage alumni-focused events online and in-person, including reunions, networking events, and educational sessions. Ensure high-quality experiences that drive participation and satisfaction. - Communications & Content. Own alumni communications, including updates and 1:1 conversations to solicit feedback, ideas for programming, and data that allows Chorus to highlight alumni achievements, share opportunities, and maintain consistent engagement across channels. - Partnerships & Opportunities. Identify and facilitate opportunities for alumni, including introductions to investors, customers, talent, and strategic partners. Collaborate with internal teams to extend resources to alumni companies. - Data & Impact Tracking. Maintain accurate alumni records and track key metrics such as engagement, growth, and program impact. Use insights to refine strategy and report on outcomes. - Platform & Tools Management. Manage alumni platforms (e.g., communications tracker, community tools like Slack) to ensure seamless communication and resource sharing. Success in This Role Looks Like - High alumni engagement and satisfaction - Strong, active alumni network with meaningful peer connections - Clear evidence of alumni success and continued growth - Increased collaboration between alumni and the broader ecosystem The Ideal Candidate - Strong Interpersonal Skills: able to quickly build and maintain meaningful relationships with creators and handle difficult situations responsibly. - Meticulous Attention to Detail: can successfully manage multiple threads at once while remaining organized and ensuring that all external materials match Chorus’s standards of excellence. - Comfortable in Fast-Paced Environments: can adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment and is comfortable managing multiple moving pieces at once. - Open-Minded: able to work well with people from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives. - Experience in Digital Space: Familiar with major trends and leading organizations in pro-democracy digital media. Experience as a content creator and/or working directly with creators is preferred. Compensation Contract role with compensation ranging from $8,000 to $10,000 per month, depending on experience. Website: www.wearechorus.com Scope of Work Chorus is looking for someone to manage relationships with external organizations and partners. This role focuses on cultivating opportunities to strengthen the services we’re providing to creators, while also expanding collaborations with other organizations who share our pro-democracy mission. They will serve as a primary ambassador for Chorus - attending events, sharing program updates with partners, and helping organizations understand how to work with us. Additionally, they will build a plan to integrate the Creator Council into decision-making conversations and mentorship programs with past, present, and future cohorts, and help standardize a cadence for Creator Council meetings. We are a small team with an all-hands-on-deck attitude; no task is too small and responsibilities may evolve as project needs do. That said, key responsibilities include: - Partnerships Management. Identify potential partners for Chorus and educate partners about ways to partner with Chorus (interviews, attendance at events, etc.). Work closely with senior leadership to manage relationships with high-priority contacts, ensuring consistent follow through and no dropped balls. This includes following through on requests for creators and regularly updating policymakers, nonprofits, and other partners on opportunities to partner with Chorus. - Partner Memos. Help create, and own distribution of, partner memos that provide valuable content analytics around newsworthy events, readouts of creator success stories, and updates on the program’s metrics on a regular basis. This includes identifying moments that should result in a partner memo, tracking new partner contacts, and creating partner lists based on the memo type. - Creator Council Management. As the leaders behind this organization, Chorus Creator Council members are critical to the success of Chorus. This role must build out a program that ensures members’ commitment to the program is fully leveraged: engage them in decision-making, build them into the curriculum, and find ways for them to participate in proactive public communications on behalf of Chorus. This includes owning the logistics of all Creator Council meetings: establishing a meeting cadence, setting agendas, managing voting procedures, and ensuring follow through on any assigned action items. - Events Support. Leverage partner relationships to help secure invites and press credentials for creators at major political and cultural events, and attend in-person events as a representative for Chorus. Support the team in producing Chorus’s own events. Strong preference for this position to be located in Washington, DC. All team members must be located within the continental United States and must be reachable between the hours of 10am ET and 6pm ET, regardless of where they live and work. This role may require occasional travel for partnership meetings or events. In such cases, Chorus will cover travel and lodging expenses. Security Detection and Automation Engineer

Role Description Chorus require passionate individuals for our Cyber Security Operations Centre. Our CSOC team are on a mission to become a world-class, next gen MXDR provider, delivering true value and protection to our clients. We are seeking a proactive and skilled Security Detection and Automation Engineer to join our cyber security team. If you're passionate about threat detection, attacker tradecraft, incident response, and building scalable security solutions, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact. As a Security Detection and Automation Engineer, you will apply your expertise in security operations, detection engineering, and attacker tradecraft to design and deliver advanced integrations, detections, and automations within the Microsoft security ecosystem. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining scalable solutions using Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender XDR, and KQL, while integrating a range of security tools including firewalls, email filtering platforms, and web proxies. Key Responsibilities - Manage, develop, and tune the scripts, functions and Logic Apps that integrate with the Chorus CSOC Platform. - Lead technical migration of log sources into Microsoft Sentinel SIEM. - Monitor the impact of deploying new content to the health and performance of the SIEM. - Set up Microsoft Sentinel for new/onboarding customers. - Look for ways to automate lengthy analyst processes and build end-to-end automation. - Work with APIs for different technology Chorus and our customers adopt, building integrations where required. - Experience with configuring and using SOAR tools, Azure Logic Apps, & Azure Functions (Python). - Compliance to policy, process, and procedure adherence. - Ability and experience to coach and mentor individuals. - Ability to create playbooks or runbooks attached to new detections and content. - Experience in creating and documenting process and procedures. - Be proactive and make use of available toolsets to look for compromises within our customers' environments. - Proficiency communicating to technical & non-technical audiences with a positive, collaborative, and enablement-focused attitude. - To work with our other internal teams within Chorus and be a SME on security. - Assess new threats and propose detection logic for new rule sets. - Stay up to date with the threat landscape. - Responsible for design of security alerts and incidents. - Maintain awareness of and follow Chorus company procedures and guidelines, including security, regulatory and quality related matters. - Comply with all relevant legislative and legal requirements, including industry regulations, employment law, Data Protection and Health and Safety. - Demonstrate behaviours that promote our values. - Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested. Qualifications - Insatiable curiosity & desire to challenge conventional approaches to solving problems. - Strong technical skills across Microsoft Threat Protection products and Azure Security. - Experience with industry recognized SIEM solutions preferably with Microsoft Sentinel. - Experience with Query Languages preferably KQL. - Any Python/JavaScript knowledge is helpful. - Degree in a Computer Science discipline OR equivalent work experience. - Experience in understanding the MITRE ATT&CK framework or any other security defence frameworks. The role involves designing and maintaining scalable detections, integrations, and automations within the Microsoft security ecosystem, making technical decisions that directly affect the effectiveness, performance, and reliability of the Chorus CSOC platform. The role has a significant impact on improving threat detection quality, reducing manual analyst effort through automation, and strengthening Chorus’ overall security service capability. The role holder works closely with CSOC analysts, engineers, and wider internal teams, acting as a subject matter expert and regularly engaging in technical discussions around threat detection, incident response, and platform improvements. While the role does not have direct line management responsibility, it has influence through technical leadership, mentoring, and ownership of security content, tooling, and integrations, and is responsible for managing and maintaining critical security systems, integrations, and automation workflows that underpin CSOC operations.
