Role Description The Research Associate supports the implementation of research and evaluation projects by: - Conducting literature reviews - Developing measurement tools - Collecting and analyzing data - Supporting the development of project deliverables This role is part of the GusNIP participant-level team, focusing on: - Managing, cleaning, troubleshooting, and analyzing datasets - Supporting updates to core metrics and other data-related tasks - Working directly with GusNIP grantees on data-related questions Strong communication skills, responsiveness, and a solution-oriented approach are important. Additional responsibilities include: - Supporting broader research and data tasks across the GusNIP team Experience with data management and analyses using R/R Studio is highly desirable for this position. Qualifications - Master’s degree in public health, epidemiology, or biostatistics or strong quantitative skills with 5 years of relevant experience - Experience conducting research and evaluation studies in an academic or applied setting - Experience developing valid and reliable measurement tools such as interview guides, surveys, or assessments - Proficient in quantitative and qualitative research methods and data analysis - Proficient in data collection and analysis tools such as SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, R, Stata, SAS, and/or NVivo - High level of attention to detail and ability to problem solve - Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom) - Proficient in data management tools such as Smartsheet - Proficient in customer support tools such as ZenDesk Requirements - Maintain a productive, comfortable, and distraction-free remote work environment - Comply with the CNHI work schedule - Follow care and security standards for CNHI-issued equipment - Supply your own Internet connection for seamless communication for video conferencing Physical Requirements - Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard - Reach, stoop, and/or kneel to install computer equipment for periods of time throughout the day - Specific vision ability to complete close vision requirements due to computer work - Ability to complete light to moderate lifting Salary $61,000-$70,000 (Level 2 or Level 3). Role Description The Postdoctoral Fellow supports scientific aspects of research and evaluation projects including: - Proposal development and research design - Defining target population - Identifying data needed - Measurement tool development - Data collection - Data analysis - Deliverable development The fellowship is anticipated to be a two-year period, with the initial appointment lasting one year and possible renewal for a second year based on performance. This position will have the opportunity to support the development of journal articles and the possibility of applying for funding.
