If you suspect fraudulent activity, contact businessconduct@chemonics.com. Chemonics seeks a billable Surge Closeout Support Specialist for the Jordan ERA project. This will be a temporary position. The Surge Closeout Support Specialist will support both the home-office and project-office providing operational leadership for day-to-day compliance and financial oversight. This position will collaborate with ERA home-office and project-office leadership staff to ensure adherence to task order and address risk mitigation measures as well as ensure adherence with company policies, applicable law and regulations, and client requirements. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world. Responsibilities: • Coordinate inputs and monitor progress against the Closeout Plan • Lead recruiting efforts for international consultants as identified by the project team • Monitor and support financial management of ERA contract by tracking expenditures and regular forecasting of expenditures for Chemonics and client. • Identify and resolve issues or potential risks throughout the ramp-up and closeout phase, including project performance, financial, legal, and other core business areas. Escalate complex matters to leadership as needed. • Monitor and support project operations, for procurements, subcontracts and administrative process to align with required standards in coordination with the Implementation Director and Deputy Chief of Party-Operations • Coordinate with project office to address requests and ensure timely completion of tasks. • Develop risk mitigation strategies and lead problem-solving with project office staff. • Other billable duties as assigned Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree; master's degree preferred • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience; including financial oversight and compliance required • At least one year managing employees or teams • Thorough understanding of donor/client regulatory and contract management • Demonstrated experience working on one or more projects • In-depth knowledge of project closeout, regulations, and Chemonics’ internal processes • Excellent organizational and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively • Willingness to travel up to 8 weeks per year • Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity. • Demonstrates knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts and tools, with the ability to apply them appropriately and responsibly to support efficiency, decision making, and problem solving in a dynamic business environment. An employee’s pay position will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs. Overtime exemption status may change due to state regulatory requirements.
