Role Description The Director of MAT Compliance is a remote leadership role responsible for ensuring full compliance with New York State Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) requirements, regulatory standards, and program guidelines. This position also plays a key role in strengthening community outreach initiatives and supporting the expansion of MAT services. The Director will work closely with the on-site MAT Coordinator to ensure accurate data collection, reporting integrity, and consistent program operations. This role reports directly to the Regional Director. Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing, Social Work, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field. - Experience in Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), substance use disorder treatment, or behavioral health programs required. - Strong knowledge of New York State healthcare regulations and compliance requirements preferred. - Experience in healthcare compliance, quality assurance, or program oversight. - Strong analytical skills with experience in data review and reporting. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in remote or hybrid environments. - Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into operational practice. Requirements - Ensure organizational compliance with all New York State MAT regulations, policies, and reporting requirements. - Monitor program operations to ensure adherence to clinical, regulatory, and documentation standards. - Partner with the onsite MAT Coordinator to oversee accurate data collection, tracking, and reporting. - Review and validate MAT program data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance. - Develop and implement compliance monitoring processes and quality assurance measures. - Support and strengthen community outreach efforts to expand MAT program engagement and access. - Serve as a subject matter expert on MAT compliance requirements and best practices. - Identify compliance risks and develop corrective action plans when necessary. - Collaborate with clinical leadership, operations, and regional leadership to support program integrity. - Prepare and present compliance reports and performance metrics to the Regional Director. - Stay current on changes in state and federal MAT regulations and ensure timely implementation of updates. - Provide guidance and support to onsite staff regarding documentation and compliance standards.
