Role Description C-edge is seeking a Data Analyst to contribute to the success of our newly awarded Information Technology Support Services, US Army Reserve, 88th Readiness Division contract. The Data Analyst provides distributed data analysis support across the 88th RD Area of Operations. This analyst applies advanced statistical techniques, builds data models, and creates visualizations to support G6 initiatives and improve readiness. Coordinates closely with the on-site team. - Perform remote data collection, cleaning, transformation, and analysis. - Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to datasets. - Develop visualizations and dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools. - Deliver actionable recommendations to stakeholders at technical and non-technical levels. - Coordinate with on-site Fort McCoy DABAL team and COR/DGR. - Stay updated on emerging data analysis technologies. - All other duties as assigned. Qualifications - 2-3 years of relevant data analysis experience. - Strong understanding of statistical concepts, data analysis methodologies, and business operations. - Experience with Python, R, SQL, and advanced Excel. - Experience with data modeling, predictive analytics, and machine learning techniques. - Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization platforms. - Working knowledge of hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and time series analysis. - Ability to collect, clean, transform, and manipulate large datasets. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently in a self-starting, remote environment. Requirements - Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field. - Certifications/Training: - DoD Cyber Awareness Training (required prior to network access and annually thereafter; IAW DoDD 8140.01/DoDM 8140.03/AR 25-2) - AT Level I Awareness Training (within 30 calendar days of performance start) - iWATCH Army Training (within 30 calendar days of performance start) - ATCTS (Army Training Certification Tracking System) registration required - Other Requirements: Travel requirements vary (5–20%) annually - Physical Requirements: - Employees must be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods of time. - They should be able to use their hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, as well as reach with their hands and arms. - The ability to talk, see, and hear is also required. - Employees must be capable of working on a desktop or laptop computer for long duration. - Occasionally, they may need to lift and move moderate amounts of weight, typically no more than 20 pounds. - Regular and predictable attendance is essential. - The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. - C-edge will make reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions and in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. CYBERSECURITY ASSESSMENT AND AUTHORIZATION SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT (SME) Position : Remote Serves as a cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) with regards to Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of information systems and all associated cybersecurity policies and procedures. Performs a DOD cybersecurity process while either authorizing an information system or serving as a SME for an information system undergoing authorization. Possess an understanding of how the security controls identified in the NIST 800-53 apply to the process of assessing and authorizing a large organization’s IT infrastructure such as DLA’s, in which there is a compilation of large and small enclaves, AIS applications and outsourced IT processes. Determines the applicable severity value for an identified vulnerability (e.g., non-compliant security control) and determines the possible ramifications on the system’s current or future authorization. Briefs senior management on the progress or results of an information system undergoing the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process. Minimum Requirements: - Five (5) years of relevant Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST A&A experience - DOD cybersecurity experience - Experience in assessing security controls and conducting authorization reviews for large, complex organizations. - Experienced in the general tenets supporting the overall DOD implementation of its authorization process, to include supporting cybersecurity policy, procedures, and processes. - Knowledgeable in the cybersecurity of emerging technology areas such as Cloud and Industrial Control Systems (ICSs), warehouse execution systems and - Operational Technology (OT) infrastructures. - DOD Top Secret Clearance and must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at time of proposal submission. - CERT Personnel: Any team member assigned duties at DLA CERT shall possess a DOD TOP SECRET Clearance and must possess IT-I Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 5 (T5) at time of proposal submission. - Any team member assigned duties as DLA CERT Analyst will maintain CSSP-Analyst certification Contract Start is May 17th. 5 Year POP.
