Role Description Career TEAM is looking to hire a Staff Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination, compilation, and analysis of financial and cost information for the company and supporting grants/contracts. The ideal candidate must have the ability to interact with co-workers and customers at all levels. This Staff Accountant will be the fiscal partner to Executive Directors who operate various workforce development programs, therefore, a high level of accuracy and confidentiality must be maintained. The primary responsibilities for this role will focus on: - Invoicing - Reporting project financial status - Managing project forecasts - Associated modeling for strategic planning and analysis for various contracts In this role, you will work from 10:00pm to 7:00am PHST. Qualifications - A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or another related concentration. - A minimum of 3 years’ experience handling US government contracts is a plus. - Demonstrated knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). - Ability to reconcile balance sheets and profit/loss reports. - Proficiency using advanced computer skills in MS Excel and Accounting Software such as Quick Books. - Professional communication skills with a strong command of the English language both verbal and written. - Experience with handling sensitive and confidential data. - Experience with interacting with Executive, Upper Management and 3rd party funding sources. - Detail-oriented with meticulous organizational, analytical, research and critical thinking skills. - Ability to meet accounting month-end deadlines and work independently in a virtual team environment. - Ability to work well under pressure, including performing and completing a high volume of work assignments with speed and accuracy. - Work cooperatively with others and demonstrate courteousness and a high level of professionalism. Role Description Career TEAM is currently in search of a dynamic and detail-oriented Payroll Admin that will support our Human Resources and operations team with critical payroll and business functions. In this role, you will work from 10:00pm to 7:00am PHST. The Payroll Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of payroll data entry and processing for the entire organization. This role is vital to the smooth operation of the company’s payroll process, guaranteeing that employees are paid correctly and on time. - Initiate, track and complete the self-paced employee onboarding process via ADP Workforcenow for all employees across the US and PH. - Review employee information for accuracy, including name, address, tax ID, tax withholdings, etc. - Update employee payroll information including marital status, job titles, wages, hires and separations. - Ensure the integrity of the payroll data entry of the US based team by reviewing employee timecards for their regular hours, overtime, sick or vacation time and other pay codes. - Input additional earnings, such as bonuses or commissions. - Ensure compliance with US federal, state and local tax laws and regulations. - Calculate and process payroll adjustments in the ADP Workforce Now system. - Assist with other special payments and other reconciliations as needed. - Respond to and resolve all payroll inquiries in an accurate, courteous, and confidential manner. - Prepare weekly and monthly headcount summary and other reports as needed. - Edit ADP’s set up as needed to accommodate the various labor laws, leave laws and compliance requirements across the United States. - Approach each day with a “Zag” mindset. - Other duties as needed.
