• Manage Brooks’ business with sales reps and accounts within your designated territory or channel, to include traveling and working with reps to build a strong relationship between reps and external stakeholders. • Develop strategic sales forecasts, product sales plans, and annual revenue goals for each assigned account • Develop strategic sales programs that drive sell-thru at retail and position Brooks as the leader in performance running, including grass roots events • Partner with sales reps on seasonal sell-in presentations to ensure backlog growth and increase market share at all key accounts • Work closely with the Retail Marketing team to develop seasonal grass roots marketing programs, including in-store promotions, expos, store running teams, etc. that help promote Brooks brand awareness and positively impact Brooks sell-thru performance at retail. • Serve as the primary communication source for Brooks Sports Inc. with reps and customers across your designated territory. • Support Sales Leadership across any additional seasonal key initiatives within our business and across special projects • Lead all seasonal sell in presentations to insure backlog growth and increased market share at all key accounts for both footwear and apparel • Serve as a communication source for Brooks Sports Inc. with reps and customers • Provide field feedback on competitor products, programs, and services, as well as marketplace activities • Attend, coordinate and participate across designated seasonal business meetings including sales meeting, trade shows, key account meetings. • Manage (including goal setting, performance review, hiring decisions, team culture, etc.) and support the career development of direct reports to ensure job satisfaction, retention and to identify and develop bench strength • Own decisions related to day-to-day employee career, training, performance, etc. and provide recommendations to insert department leadership on employee decisions such as compensation, promotions, hiring/termination

Let’s run there Your Job:The Brooks Technical Representative will lead and execute the field support strategy in all distribution channels located within their respective territory to increase market share, amplify Brooks’ product leadership, and create recognition, awareness and loyalty for the brand. We are also firm believers in grass roots events and as such have a comprehensive events schedule. Your Responsibilities:• Lead the overall field support efforts for Brooks at both Specialty Running Accounts (SRA) and Non-Specialty accounts located within the territory • Support the Sales and Marketing teams with product launches, in-store merchandising, and innovative grassroots programs at all accounts. • Work with Sales management and Marketing on the success of National Account sell-thru programs/in-store promotions; all Tec Rep’s are accountable for an established sell-thru number for a pre-determined store base within their respective territory. • Educate and motivate the retailer, consumer, and all key points of contact about Brooks technology and product leadership via product seminars and clinics. • Be the eyes and ears of the brand and communicate our brand positioning, competitors, and potential competitor’s activity. It is essential to work closely with your respective Sales Rep to highlight any issues/challenges/successes. • Provide feedback and analysis via ForceManager (our CRM tool) to measure effectiveness of product initiatives and sales strategies. • Represent Brooks at running events and expos (for example parkun) including branding, set-up, breakdown, distribution of collateral, interaction with consumers, shoe count and product trial. Your Qualifications:• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. • 1+ years of retail experience (Athletic Specialty preferred). • 2+ years of Marketing/Sales experience within the sports industry preferred. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, demonstrating effective listening through concise, clear verbal and written communication. • Very strong presentation skills. • Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company. • As Senior Sales Manager, Canada you will be responsible for footwear, apparel and accessories sales revenue across Canada for the strategic accounts as assigned to you and the external Sales Agency territories. • You will contribute to the establishment of sales goals, strategies, and budgets. • You will oversee management of territory Sales agencies in achieving sales goals, including onboarding new agencies as needed. • You will work with the marketing team on establishing and executing marketing plans for your designated accounts in the channel or territory. • You will also travel regularly throughout the territory and/or to key accounts, as well as trade shows and expos, to achieve sales goals.
• Develop brand concepts and strategic sales programs for France/Sales Rep’s territories that drive sell thru at retail and position Brooks as the leader in performance running. • Manage the Special Running Account Associations, as well as all Buying Group (GSG) retailers and the defined 360° accounts within Sales Rep territories. • Manage the Sales Reps for assigned accounts ensuring they are managing current orders, obtaining future seasonal orders, maintaining relationships with all relevant stakeholders at each account and contributing to ongoing forecasting and revenue planning. • Continually manage account P&L to insure key account profitability. • Manage and develop the French Sales Rep team by providing coaching and mentorship to strengthen their capabilities and support their professional growth. • Observe employee performance, provide immediate feedback, and identify any training needs. May conduct initial performance discussions. • Define and drive the SRA and Buying Group (GSG) footwear, Apparel and Bra strategy as well as the revenue plan for Switzerland. • Develop brand concepts, strategic sales forecasts, product sales plans, and annual revenue goals for each assigned account. • Partner with the Tech Rep Sup France on establishing and executing sell thru plans for defined accounts in the respective channel of the Sales Rep Teams. • Lead all strategic presentations at HQ level at Buying Groups and Strategic Accounts to increase market share at all accounts for both footwear and apparel withing the Sales Rep’s Territories. • Work closely with the Marketing team to develop strategic and seasonal marketing programs, including in-store promotions, expos, online and omnichannel etc. • Partner with Product Management and Marketing on product issues, improvements on existing products, new product requirements and competitive information. • Consolidate field feedback on competitor products, programs and services, as well as marketplace activities and draw insights and formulate recommendations. • Support the Senior Sales manager and Business planner, France in all business and special projects.
• Meet yearly revenue plans for footwear, apparel and accessories for your assigned territory. • Identify market potential for current database to increase number of accounts accordingly in the upcoming seasons. • Enter all future booking orders through Brooks’ proprietary web-based tools, ensure the at once order flow during the season. • Be the expert on your territory, provide field feedback on competitor’s products, program and services as well as marketplace activities. • Work with territory accounts to forecast, develop and implement yearly plans around their footwear and apparel needs in order to grow Brooks’ market share. • Provide analysis and feedback on sell-through & market share data both to Brooks’ business and retailers. • Collaborate with Scandinavia Marketing to develop and implement full year marketing plans to grow revenue, brand awareness and market share. • Manage and support the retailers and ensure alignment on revenue and marketing plans for the territory. • Lead the overall field support efforts for Brooks at both Specialty Running Accounts (SRA) and Non-Specialty accounts located within the territory: product launches, in-store merchandising, and innovative grassroots programs at all accounts. • Educate and motivate the retailer, consumer, and all key points of contact about Brooks technology and product leadership via product seminars, clinics and events. • Provide field feedback on competitor’s products, program and services as well as marketplace activities; identify new opportunities for growth within or outside the running industry. • Work with territory accounts to forecast, develop and implement yearly plans around their footwear and apparel needs in order to grow Brooks’ market share. • Be the eyes and ears of the brand and communicate our brand positioning, competitors, and potential competitor’s activity.
