Role Description This role combines technical expertise, solution design, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver tailored solutions, drive business growth, and ensure successful implementations. The successful candidate will work closely with sales, product, and customer success teams while mentoring colleagues and contributing to continuous process improvement. Key Responsibilities - Technical Leadership & Customer Engagement - Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of the company's technology ecosystem and solutions. - Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support partners and end-users. - Engage with strategic partners and customers to optimise the use of technology solutions. - Assess complex business challenges and recommend effective technical solutions. - Translate technical capabilities into business value for prospective customers. - Conduct technical discovery sessions, solution demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements. - Ensure exceptional customer and partner satisfaction through timely technical support and guidance. - Sales & Solution Engineering - Partner with revenue-generating teams to support customer engagements and sales opportunities. - Contribute to sales growth, customer retention, and ecosystem expansion. - Design and deliver tailored technical solutions aligned with customer requirements. - Support successful solution implementation and deployment for strategic customers and partners. - Partner Enablement - Support partner training and technical upskilling initiatives. - Promote best practices across different customer and partner channels. - Provide technical guidance based on industry knowledge and customer needs. - Collaboration & Continuous Improvement - Gather customer and partner feedback to support product improvements. - Maintain accurate documentation of customer engagements, solution designs, and deliverables. - Create and improve departmental processes and procedures. - Manage escalations and drive continuous operational improvements. - Leadership & Mentorship - Mentor and support Solutions Engineers and other team members. - Share technical expertise, knowledge, and best practices. - Promote professional development and a collaborative team culture. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in Solutions Engineering or Sales Engineering. - Experience in software engineering, systems integration, data analysis, or similar technical customer-facing roles. - Experience working with strategic customers and partners. - Proven experience delivering technical demonstrations, solution design, and customer implementations. Technical Skills - Strong knowledge of telematics, IoT, APIs, and related technologies. - Experience with Python, SQL, Java, or C#. - Extensive experience with API integrations. - Experience using Agile project management, ticketing, and CRM platforms such as JIRA and Salesforce. - Knowledge of data analysis and visualisation tools including Power BI or similar platforms.
